QUOTE(MUM @ Aug 12 2020, 11:26 AM) just asking,..why those and not those from FSM recommended list? I did hold Amanahraya from the FSM recommended list. I'm thinking to increase my FI percentage by another 10 to 20% with the cash from maturing FD. Hence either i put everything into current FI or diversify it. they could have screened those out from a lists of FI funds, you don't like their selection methodology? anyway, looked at the fund...i prefered principal over EI for it abit more consistency in calendar year roi After those adjustment I would have around 35% in eeq and 65% FI. |

QUOTE(whirlwind @ Aug 14 2020, 11:03 AM) This is a very scary fund Precious metal is a mining fund. You came at a time when gold is sky high I believe, but no one know if gold will go even higher or drop. If you cannot tahan this kind of pressure please stay away and invest in a moderate risk fund.Invest recently and the fund went down, now I already requested to switch. I don’t even dare to hold on to it QUOTE(whirlwind @ Aug 14 2020, 11:07 AM) You can DCA during the drop, in a small amount. Don't put all in. Remember we cannot time market most of the time. |

Hi all, suddently notice that I have some units in Manulife Indonesia fund which I have already sold all about a month ago. Is that a distribution and how do i redeam it into cash account? It's just about 60 70 ringgit, which cannot sell anymore unless i purposely topup and sell.

QUOTE(ironman16 @ Aug 31 2020, 02:10 PM) 50% FI? So many. U not young man ha? 🤭🤭🤭 Haha, still cautious from the March suddent drop, I don't have much to topup at that point of time then. Forgot to mention my another exit from US. I exited Manureit in April with lost and switch them to ta global tech, really that time thought I am catching falling knife when I last topup my ta global tech in March before the switch from manureit. But after gaining steadily since the drop I sell all on mid August. Happy to still be able to recover back my capital and take profit. Now i slowly enter US. Gold/Reits /Msia in my radar. Haven't decide when to re enter again. ironman16 liked this post

QUOTE(domng @ Sep 10 2020, 12:05 PM) Need to open Eastspring Investments account with a Unit Trust Consultant (UTC). That is the easiest way to invest into Eastspring using GrabPay currently. 😉 Only if one intend to invest in the said bond fund, and with a small sum of investment because do remember that Grabpay has a limit of RM1500. For equity FSM still win in terms of sales charge.Bond Fund regardless invest via FSM platform or through UTC same 0% Sales Charge. But then FSM do not take Boost or GrabPay eWallets as payment mode right? Also don't forget to use the following to maximize your extra benefits: 🤑 CreditCard/Bank transfer -> Top Up BigPay - > Top Up GrabPay -> Finally make Eastspring investments payment. 👏🏻 QUOTE(GrumpyNooby @ Sep 10 2020, 01:16 PM) He's only recommending to buy bond fund which is normally 0% sales fee: Very well said. The funny proposition is just to open an account with Eastspring to buy a bond fund to reap the Grab 31% discount without a proper investment plan (portfolio construction) over time horizon attached with proper risk profiling and measurable target goal (return). |

QUOTE(WhitE LighteR @ Dec 1 2020, 09:24 PM) QUOTE(GrumpyNooby @ Dec 1 2020, 09:24 PM) Agree... very late to the party. But I'm not thinking to buy into stocks nor enter any global healthcare fund. Just trying to see if there any fund which hold on to local pharmaceutical business example Pharmaniaga. |
