QUOTE(kabal82 @ Jan 27 2021, 01:14 PM) Rather than just depend on the low interest rate of junior saving account & let it be stagnant, I take out some chunk of $$$ & DCA in SAMY (12% & 36%) instead... since my investment timeframe for my kids is more than 15 years before they even enter Uni or college I only invest my children saving in fsm, i find a few fund n just invest, I seldom switching in my children portfolio, annually done if really need to save the cost. Better returns elsewhere rather than sitting put in saving account nowaday, rite? Did some thinking where to invest (either FSM Bond Express or SAMY) before opt for SAMY... hopefully make the right choices Mostly fund r regional fund and only 2 is single country or sector. I just buy 1k bond fund for them. U open my mind already, stashaway may b just another choice 😁 This post has been edited by ironman16: Jan 27 2021, 05:28 PM wongmunkeong and kabal82 liked this post

QUOTE(Gatsby IT @ Jan 28 2021, 06:44 PM) Already have FSMone account since last year but always see fund as a laughable thing never treat it seriously since im a super high risk taker . so with some bad experience i wanna stay away from any form of stock market login , FSMone is good for me just like another PPA/PRS/EPF website that i can contribute regularly haha . I think gonna buy in tomorrow Friday , anyone know when the FSMone 0% sales charge promo gonna end ? if that ended it would make future top up quite suffering . tomorrow 29 january is the last for 0% sales charge.....Actually my parents is abit paranoid me buying funds through a platform like FSMone , they ask why not buy directly from bank safer ... public/Affin/Eastpring/Kenanga/RHB/Principal (CIMB)/......all got online platform .......tell ur parent, not only bank can buy, buy through bank, bank oso channel to this fund house..... |

QUOTE(Gatsby IT @ Jan 28 2021, 09:26 PM) If one has to choose between this two fund anyone have some insight which they will go for ? got bullet, aim for Am China.Principal Greater - EPF approved so no SC or max cap 0.5% , more stable 5years return , lower continuous investment amount . AmChina - Higher 1.5% sales charge , higher 10year annual return but higher volatile especially 2016 and 2018 (all the good return data contributed to very high 2019,2020 gain) . Bonus : rare to see Malaysia unit trust fund with Sharpe ratio of 1.15 (over 1.0) , most other famous and performing fund are all under 1.0 (Greater is better). https://www.fsmone.com.my/funds/tools/facts...c=global-search https://www.fsmone.com.my/funds/tools/facts...c=global-search spare money to enter aka DCA. if make profit after a few year, u just switch it la..... |
