Hello, may I ask for your experience or feedback with Lazada Refund?


Actually I asked my friend to help me to buy a camera from Dejitaru at Lazada but it is stuck at "Item being packed and ready for shipment" and the item hasn't been delivered to me until yesterday which is the deadline for the delivery. I have been very anxious and disappointed that there hasn't been any progress on my order yet. I have been calling to Customer Service many times since last week and they are still not able to give me any satisfied response yet. So, I decided to officially cancel my order yesterday and gave them my friend's bank account details. They said it will take 24 hours to 48 hours to cancel my order.

Once they cancel my order, I would like to request for refund. I acknowledge that the refund process will take up to 14 days to complete. However, I would like to ask you if you have faced any unsuccessful refund with Lazada. I would also like to know what if Lazada never returns money to me? Is there any other way to get back my money?

i've had about 3 or 4 purchases that required a refund after the item had been delivered to me. If you request a refund for an item that's delivered to you after returns, the item needs to fulfill certain requirements before the refund request is approved.

However in your case , there shouldn't be any issue as the item never reached you .

Usually the refund process take about 2-4 days if your payment was via internet banking. If credit card 5 to 6 day is usually how long it takes for it to be reflected in your statement.

In the event you experience any events that violates your consumer rights, such as your money not being refunded for an item you never received, you can bring it up with National Consumer Complaint Center which is a platform that is heavily underused by consumers as they are unaware of it.

i once buy a washing machine from them, it takes forever to be delived.. once the item delivered, for some reason i cant refund or request a refund or send the item back as the date for that purpose has already end....

i`m not sure if lazada or the seller purposely do it so that the item cannot be refund back, but for sure i dont have any confidence in their refund system

I think you should be able to return it because the countdown starts from the day you receive the items until the post stamp date of return parcel. Not from the day of purchase or delivery period. I guess you have missed the "train". I hate items take forever to be delivered, especially from Lazada, because there is no way of direct communication between the buyer and the seller. IMHO, this is inefficient at all, unlike Lelong and 11street where you can directly communicate with the seller.

Hi

I dropped off an item for return at poslaju yesterday. Thought this morning i will be able to see the package status via poslaju track & trace but still no record shown.

Based on your ex-return experience, usually how long would it take to appear on poslaju track & trace ah?

Poslaju staff stamped (with date and location) on my refund form and said thats all. No receipt provided...

Hi,

May i know what time did you drop of the item?

Usually the window is 24 hours lead time to be reflected.

I think there may be a delay for this as currently Lazada is coping with their 5th Birthday sale.

Nevertheless , try checking the tracking on maybe second half of today.

By right , the consignment note , they should give u a copy.

Make sure u hold onto your tracking number.

friday i bought a rm 1.8k wide screen curved monitor from lazada, this monday i received a sms said your item refund have been initiated. i use creidt card to buy. i want to ask, will lazada refund money to me or just a rm 1.8k coupon??

bank or CC? last time it took me 3-5 working days for the fund to get refunded into my bank

Best case - it was refunded almost immediately (there was a note from PMSB saying they received the package badly damaged.) Worst case took about two weeks.

Although i didn't use lazada or do any online shopping that much, but i tried once on last year's 11.11 to get some beauty products for my girlfriend, it got deliver within 4-5 days without any damages on the product. So maybe its the supplier issue i guess?

I got this experience before. they will refund back to credit card in 14 days but they won't inform customer. We need check the by own bank website.

you can give a try in 11street

A lot of issue about lazada express and refund. you can check your mail and credit card bill. if don't have you must contact them or commend any post in their facebook page. let everyone know. i have done this before, very quick respond.

Same here almost two weeks already now. But last time one week refunded through CC once return initiated

I got chat with them online and they got call me for clarification

I think still need wait but at least they trying, maybe too many refund

my experience:
bought 2 batteries for a certain laptop model
item arrived dead on arrival
but on my lazada dashboard the status is still shown as processing even after 48 hours so I cannot initiate a return via the dashboard. I contacted lazada on their live chat and email, they gave me a manual return form.
I returned the items using pos laju. Once lazada received it, the refund to credit card was swift. They also refunded my shipping cost to return the item.
