I just changed my car windscreen to Vkool Elite, it is so called the most premium one but i found some cons bout it:
- Too bright ( i think the light penetration % is too high)
- GPS unable to get signal/ lock satelite
On the other hand, my car aircond do cool down faster.

Hi,all i just tinted my car with Llumar-Diamond 6 at Puchong.
i found that it is better that 3M,Llumar have a total solar energy rejected and GPS friendly.
I very satisfied with Llumar-Diamand 6, which is the best ever i had tinted
P/S: the sale girl told me Llumar had take over the Vkool factory (Elite) and some more thier film are make at china.
i don't know is true or not.
Both the tint mentioned is due to the metal that is used in the film that is reflective, hence it's harder for GPS and Smartag to go through. It will get worse over time as the film is oxidized and loses it's efficiency. All tint loses efficiency over time. As long as you feel that it is not performing up to the specifications anymore, you can choose to ask for a replacement. Tint is known to oxidize after 5 years.
I initially wanted to go with Llumar but the specificiation sheet from Tint Auto is contradicting with Llumar USA's specification. Further adding into the confusion was the naming convention that Tint Auto gave on the film which is not stated in the Llumar's official website. From the Diamond 6 spec that you have mentioned I found the following specs given by Tint Auto website:
VLT 63%
TSER 59%
IR Rejected 97%
UV Rejected 99%
Break Strength 165 lb/inch
Tensile Strength 33,100 lb/inch2
Puncture Strength 125 lb
Thickness 6 mil (150 micron)
Warranty 10 Years
Color Green
As it is a 6 mil, it is considered a security film and hence it's easier to match on the spec sheet in Llumar's official site. Attached is the Llumar spec data for Global (non US and Canada) which I believe using the film name AIR65GNSRPS6 (6 mil green). They do not mentioned the IR rejection rate as well. This is the closest match which I believe is the tint film that is marketed as Diamond 6 here.
Spec sheet is available here.
http://www.llumar.com/pdf/en/LLumarAutoSpecsGlobal.pdfVLT 63%
TSER 43%
Visible Light Refelcted 8%
UV Rejected 99%
I view this as a serious misinformation provided by the distributor and there is no correction for a long time. We are talking about a 15% difference in TSER! That is a huge difference on the Total Solar Efficiency rate. If they are honourable on the 10 year warranty, I believe you can ask for a tint change after the tint is oxidized.
