After some survey and homework done on tinting, I have these two packages offered under the same price:

Package A
3M Crystalline 70 - Front
Huper Optik 40 - Side & Rear

Package B
Huper Optik 70 - Front
Huper Optik 40 - Side & Rear

Both package with 5 years warranty and JPJ summon claimable includede.

I'm driving MyVi with the GPS unit and wondering if any of the package above will affect the GPS signal? I'm not very sure about this but I have read many feedback that 3M Crystalline isn't SmartTag friendly, however no effect on GPS signal. Anyone care to chip-in any information or feedback? smile.gif

Im currently gathering as much info as i could, and it seems that 3M C70 will affect STag as well as GPS signal.
Somehow there's one forumer claims that if u hold the STag near the window, it will work just fine. But still GPS signal is weak and even worse no signal at all.

08.03.2012 - Just installed 6mil security tint from Coolmaster Ultra Solar Tint Shop in Taipan - on Perodua Viva.
Bought the voucher online = RM278 for 6mil security film(4side window) and 2mil(front and rear).

We did pay extra top-up:
+ RM150 to upgrade front & rear
+ RM20 for windscreen sun visor(the black upper part)
+ RM50 surcharge for removal of old tint.

Total: RM 498

Sad part is: when we took the car from the shop, there are visible bubble on all 4-side window. I could see some dust particle trapped in the bubble too.
The shop sales person told us, that it was normal for 6mil security tint film to have bubble, and will disappear within 2-weeks.

Anyone here share their view/experience too, please?

Note: I would say that their customer service are not bad. *So far, the shop people are friendly and willing to help when I complained vmad.gif . They didn't show grumpy face.

Yes the tinted films will need some time for it to cure/dry, so after some period if still got bubbles they will replace it for you..

i am looking for tinting which can block the most heat while compliance to JPJ, and won't affect GPS signal.
