it was due to the installation itself...not so sure which branch she went...all i know is in klang
from all these years...i can assure that the tint itself sure no problem...those bubble and colour are all cause by poor workmanship...any brand at all..the tint itself no problem one
and i asked her how long did it take for them to finish....she said around an hour, thn i said theres your answer/problem

Raytech dont have a branch at Klang...

How much is Safety Tint for Perodua Kenari?

Preferably dark enough so that can't see the inside of the car from the outside, but according to JPJ's allowance.

I will highly recommend 3M full crystalline in your car.

If you are afraid of kacau by those Polis or JPJ the front 70% side + back you can opt for 60% or 50%.

2nd option: Front put 60%, the rest you can put 50% or 40% Crystalline.

3rd option: The whole car 50% Crystalline including the front windscreen.

I would prefer know the installer rather then let the Car Dealer do it. You know what you paid for rather then go thru 3rd party.

Just my 2 cents

Just done my SUV with 3M, with 4 mill security film, at a decent price.
I've opted for Crystalline 60 front, and 40 at the side. It is not road compliant, but i prefer something darker.
Anyhow, it is not extremely dark so JPJ won't really kacau.
FYI, the price is the same regardless which range you choose.

Went to 3M authorise dealer at Subang, so for sure u can get genuine product. Good and friendly service, and very nice waiting area set up.

I just brought a second hand cr-v and now I'm interested to put some safety film to it... So anyone may recommend any reliable brand of film or any shops to me?

As I'm living in Ipoh...

Security film will not prevent break-in. Not with a pro. It is more to delay any one from smashing the window and make a quick grab of what ever that is on the car seat, etc.
Even with the few thousand RM alarm system also cannot prevent break-in....

nowadays a lot of own-brand tinted in the market, if u try to google it, without any history from the brand, which means this is a normal budget tinted...not worth rm650..

5years warranty is normal as the tint will not hav manufacturing defect...

jpj approve is based on the guideline set by jpj, like the degree of visible according to each window and windscreen...

If budget permit, get some decent brand. Dun get the normal budget film.

Not worth it at all. If you look at the rear windscreen of many many cars....all got bubble. Some car based on their plate should 1-2 years old.

This should be budgeted film i guess or FOC from Sales person, furthermore the heat rejection only normal only. Just a layer of film. Over your original glass.

Come to film I only trust 1 brand 3M. Of coz Crystalline is expensive.

They have other series. You can drop by any authorized 3M dealer to check out the price.

Standard Film, RE, FX HP series, Color Stable, Crystalline.

D higher you go of coz the more expensive...

JPJ's rule is 70% VLT for Front & 50% VLT for the rest. So, should be in compliance with their regulation.

I have just installed 60% for front & 40% for side on one of my ride. The shop told me that they will warrant against JPJ summons. It is of another brand. Not 3M.

hi all,
wanna ask is the sport light test on tint accurate or not? i just tinted with sun-gard and during sport light test, i dont feel any heat at all but when driving back my car, found that heat is still feel-able.

is this normal? maybe the spotlight doesn;t provide as much as the sunlight? thx
