saga BLM has the record of faulty fan relay. Faulty in the sense that either it didn't turn the fan on, or it leave the fan running non stop.

Thanks for the correction. Yes valve cover gasket.

Actually it could happen to any car any brand not just campro engine biggrin.gif
*
not sure about vvt valve cover, but saga BLM does have the tendency of require slightly more frequent valve gasket replacement, like every three years. that's my experience.

O? why so? I was considering persona and after look at saga, ok also if want to save 10k
*
really depends what you looking for. i choose saga because i rarely do highway run, most of the time in city driving, so saga would be a better choice.

Luv everything about the Saga but the FC. FC is not very good. But I think it's a reasonable trade off.
Comfort/safety over FC.
*
what's the FC you getting and how about your driving condition?

City driving only. Getting 10- 12km/ltr.
May need to run in the car 1st. Now 500+ km on the clock only.
Yup don't really mind the FC trade off.
Agree the ride n handling is pretty good.
*
ok la.... 10-12 km/ltr, given that the car still in break in period and city driving, somemore weight almost a vios with 1.3 engine. ok la....

Just got my car guys.
biggrin.gif
overall bang for buck, surprised with the ride.
pickup wise much better than old saga blm
NVH is good an entry level car.

question, is there an Off/On option for ECO? i see there is Green ECO icon at the dashboard.

can recommend me a tint around Rm500 budget? prefer one that the performance can last for about 5yr.
usually tint shop will say US tint but after 1 year the performance degraded.

this is the RPM @100km/hr

The funny thing is they can even criticize Saga even without a test drive.
Brilliant.
*
hater will be hater. we can't do anything about it. though i do agree that bezza got it's advantages against saga, it's not like saga that useless at all. end of the day, it's all about what you willing pay for.

all like this. bogel
not fit but ok lah (with some double tape and clip).
ayam end up buang this after finding out belakang jadi kolam at spare tyre area coz there some leaking on body sealant.

buang coz not fit and due to not fit, ada kulat naik (due to moisture).

**this is long time ago tho. on 1st batch came out and not much after market part**
yup... thanks to glass panel on rear A pillar quarter panel (the small segi tiga mirror on rear door).
previous gen saga not have this.
*
since saga BLM era the rear window can't wind down fully.

Playing safe i supposed

Since they have iriz and persona thats not too far of a price range.

And secondly i think they miscalculated that the premium version is the most sought-after, while the standard version is the bestselling for pre facelift version.
*
most likely this is the case

10k booking is not 10k stocks
some waiting car , some process loan , some.... loan reject or high trade in settlement that may cause tak jadi amik kete
*
well, probably put it more straight to the point, proton themself doesn't anticipate such a hot response from the buyers.

just now my 1st time drive my saga at night head lamp not bright anyone have this problem?
*
not bright? seems like kinda subjective in this case. you may need to check the light projection on a plain wall first. i kinda felt that halogen reflector head light are not as bright as those like projectors and (factory fitted original) LEDs. brows.gif

Rattling noise from don't know where, even the SC cannot detect.
*
can you reproduce the rattling noise and show to proton mechanic? If yes, do it and shoot them right in front of them. Sometimes they just don't know how to detect problem or they might be simply not that competent. We as an owner we should help them in order to help ourselves.

QUOTE(aminar @ Sep 19 2019, 10:04 AM)
Uneven road, and right after any ramp, any level changing, sure got that noise.
*
is it sound like "ketak" "ketak"? i remember my old BLM having the really annoying noise of loud metal rattling (something like two metal coming together) when going up multi level car park slope by cornering (imagine the type of going up with a round and round circular turn and the surface is concrete with water dissipation grooves running across). I remember people suspect something about the aircond piping or the power steering piping. you may start from here. i bet these thing doesn't have their design changed since saga BLM era. By the way the sound on my old blm wasn't "ketak" "ketak", but a continuous metal rattling and it only happens when the right condition is met. Bump, change of level on the road, etc.... no issues.

I think they know what sound I've describe to them. And they even tell me they heard the sound also. And they already test the car for 3 days. And still no solution. It's not they didn't identify the sound, they already did. And that's the problem.

And it's not only my car got this kind of problem. From what I've heard, the prefacelift 2016 also have this kind of problem. Why they cannot fixed it?
*
it could be down to something very genetic like design stack up, given the right condition and the right vibration frequency, the noise happens. And trust me, though proton open so much 3S 4S many many S service center, their personnel mind set still not that advanced. only the hardware (the shop) looks advance that gives you a confident feeling, but still, the knowledge still not that competent. Trust me, there's still SC personnel that tells you mineral 5k, semi 7k and fully 10k until today (when Petronas themselves confirm their syntium SE able to last 10k km service interval).

If i were you, i will escalate the issue until they find a resolution for it, and i will give them 2 choices, return the car to me and give me a resolution or take their own sweet time and give me a spare car to use.

I already took my car back, because there's no solution to the problem. They told me they already complain it to the higher level, and their boss saw my post on "saga community facebook" and asked the SC team to make a complaint to proton officials.

And what i heard from my dashcam video when they "test" my car, the guy also said, that sound is almost on all the new saga, and people who noticed it always the guy/girl who's using multilevel parking. And they even know if someone using the car without taking multilevel parkings won't notice it. So now, there's no solution to the problem, and god knows when will they come with a solution. And i will guarantee when they finally have the solution, they won't contact the persons who complaint earlier.
*
yeah, when they have the solution, they will make it on the new freshly made cars, and conveniently forgotten people who complain it. and yet they will still tell you there's no resolution.
