1) savings is always a priority especially for older generations (not saying others don't save)
but chinese tend to save more. Not sure current generation still save or just YOLO. And these rich older generations pump in 6-7 digits, where got units left for other chinese? Some even pump in for their kids.
2) there's no unlimited units available so Chinese cannot treat it like a savings account. So if you can get in, would you want to cash out?
3) easy to get money without doing anything and Chinese love money (just look at Chinese New Year - everything is about money )
