I don't need to change modem, cuz already using TP-LINK Archer C1200 which can support 100Mbps.

that is a router... the huawei one is the modem... some of us still used the old one... so they need to come and change.

I think mind is Huawei grey color box, model is ONU-HG8240w.
It has Gigabit Ethernet ports at the back one, so I suppose it can handle 100Mbps?

After complaining to MCMC and CFM, today I managed to get my free speed upgrade to 100Mbps. Lol so much for the infra-not-ready-yet-in-my-area excuse.

still TM sucks. Wish Time would up the game and expand the coverage even more, including TM-only area. Competition will only make things better.

anyone know tm provided the BTU the ethernet port is gigabit or 100mbps port?

It depends on the model, some are gbe and fe.

You still on contract? If not then go to tm say want to upgrade to 8MB, or cut line and apply 8MB. Now it's only RM140 before GST for 8MB.

If you're still on contract, go or call tm say you heard from few friends that using 4MB get offered for free upgrade to 8MB. Few people in LYN here have been offered for the free upgrade.

You can always go to TMPoint or TM Reseller to migrate from Streamyx to Unifi.

tm just came. received free router and modem. upgrade from 50 to 100Mbps, speed max can only reached 110MB/s

110MB/s 1gbps also lose.... it should be 110mbps or 12-13MB/s

haha, u got me. typo error. 100Mbps, should be around 13MB/s

actually, they came and test the speed using speedtest, it recorded around 80 - 90Mbps which they said is normal.
i'm not satisfied since i heard other ppl said, old modem can't deliver 100Mbps so i insist they change the modem. fortunately after changing modem, the speed can reach around 110Mbps.
