For those who are currently on 50Mbps, the free upgrade to 100Mbps will also get 100Mbps upload speed?

QUOTE(edan1979 @ Oct 30 2017, 11:33 AM) that is a router... the huawei one is the modem... some of us still used the old one... so they need to come and change. Ooo, you referring to the BTU.I think mind is Huawei grey color box, model is ONU-HG8240w. It has Gigabit Ethernet ports at the back one, so I suppose it can handle 100Mbps? QUOTE(figure8 @ Nov 6 2017, 03:26 PM) haha, u got me. typo error. 100Mbps, should be around 13MB/s Can I know which modem that you got changed?actually, they came and test the speed using speedtest, it recorded around 80 - 90Mbps which they said is normal. i'm not satisfied since i heard other ppl said, old modem can't deliver 100Mbps so i insist they change the modem. fortunately after changing modem, the speed can reach around 110Mbps. |

My house is using Aztech homeplug 500Mbps, after changing it to Aztech 1200Mbps, I can get 100+Mbps download speed now.
Thanks to the gigabit ethernet port on the homeplug. |
