Have the same unit and I could not get the Ethernet to work, with driver installed or not.

Just watched the YouTube video from the official channel, it seems need to install the driver before plugging in the hub. Will try tomorrow and share the result. Haven’t tested it yet

I noticed that when my mbp touch bar is connected to an external monitor, it is slightly warmer than usual around the keyboard area.

Is it normal that gpu or cpu is running higher than usual when connected to an external monitor?

Normal. i still have my 2015 MBP and it's even worst when it comes to heat. Thing would slow down when i connect a dual mons with 4k/60z setup due to excessive heat. It could cook an egg.

Welcome to the family.

Trust me, at first few months, you will complaint and start wondering "why you buy this Mac".

As, you may find lots of thing not compatible at first.

Soon you will never go back to Window  biggrin.gif

Because you will get used to MacOs multitask, the smoothness of OS and battery life.

When I look at window laptop, Oh! My GOD!! the resolution vmad.gif vmad.gif

Just my personal opinion ya, no offence to Window users.

Hi guys, do u just close the macbook lid after use or do u shut down it? If u just close the lid, is the com still on? Btw, how to.know whether the com is operating as there's no light indicator like Windows com. Just started using mac so is a bit confusing.
