QUOTE(fox_shinoda @ Oct 8 2017, 07:04 PM) Just got my first MacBook Pro 13 with touch bar (late 2016) for Rm6949 at All IT. Hopefully it will serve me well 😄 moving from Windows to Mac Welcome to the family. Trust me, at first few months, you will complaint and start wondering "why you buy this Mac". As, you may find lots of thing not compatible at first. Soon you will never go back to Window

Guys, need advise for my macbook pro with touchbar. I bought an adapter from USB C to HDMI, connect it to an Acer monitor via HDMI but somehow it is not picking up the HDMI signal.
Am I missing something? It's a cheap Rm69 adapter from Viewnet.

Have you tried it with a TV? Does it work? Cos I plan to get one also but will be using with a TV.

I'll check later what version of HDMI it is using for the monitor.

QUOTE(wufei @ Oct 10 2017, 05:38 PM) can invest in MBP, RM329 is nothing for you. but not for an adapter my mistake buying the cheap non branded adapter in the first place, Baseus, Ugreen, J5Create is above Rm150 for their adapter and works well like Apple ori adapter.
