anyone on vista with e220 modem? i face one weird problem. once i reach 1gb transfer, i need to disconnect and reconnect in order to use.

there's no problem with this limitation on XP SP2. disconnect and reconnect, problem solved. but on vista SP1, once i disconnect, i cant reconnect back. it say failed to connect to remote computer. i need to restart whole pc...

anyone facing same problem?

already shift to maxis wireless broadband, for me kepong area & damasara height..........very stable over a year
can not wait until Digi 3G luanch.......maybe 1st or 2nd Q of 2009........

what the he11 happen with digi recently? EDGE keep dc'ing...

i only getting half of the speed advertised..19kb/s max..using huawei E220. anyone have similar problem?

I am using the D'Campus Digi package for Uni Students.
The edge max usage for one month is RM 30.
The speed here in UTM is very stable.
Never got disconnected since started using the line since last month.
The speeds here are fine.
Can reach till 30kB/s for downloading and around 7kB/s for uploading.
Sometimes its slow in the night.
Maybe because other uni students are using it too.

hmm..good for you to be able to get hold of the dcampus package

lately i found the APN diginet is getting slow & slower at night time, but the APN digiwap easily hit up 16KB/s (test by www.texan.net/speed.htm)


update...using APN digiwap gateway to PC failed to access internet using windows dial-up network, easily hit up 180kbps




i'm thinking if there is any way to use the digiwap connect to pc instead of diginet
digiwap works by pointing to proxy server 203.92.128.188 port 80


it did reduce the ping ms by digiwap


will do the speed test again at night time to check out any different using dial-up


p/s: all the while im using SE phone's USB Internet which pre-configured manually, its plug and connected internet feature by SE.

wow, that quite good ping time.
I just tried to see the speed on (www.texan.net/speed.htm) the speed I got was 20 KB/s using diginet.
Maybe here in the UTM the line is quite good.
I most of the time get full bar signal in my room =)

wow..that must be the worst ping by wireless service in m'sia ?

good to reduce from 999ms

thats the best digi can offer ATM?

Currently here at UTM, Skudai and Johor Bahru area, Digi having network problem on calls and sms.
But luckily and very interestingly can still online...
Digi is currently upgrading their high speed network.
I think later on we can expect better EDGE speed and reliability.

yup. i remember last time whole klang valley DiGi can't call/sms in/out..but i still can use the phone pick up edge signal connect to pc

i am waiting too for Digi 3G..
Anyone got capped for Digi?
What is the maximum download size you all have done for one month?

What are the settings?
Just change APN to digiwap?

Digi 3G only avaliable 1stQ 2009 according to newspaper/customer service
and expect they did not drop/raise the price of RM66

bro, how long we gonna to wait?.... EDGE is 2.5G, people are moving to 4G, with 5,6, watever G in development...

what we need to do is accept the fact that malaysia G is damned, screw tmnet and get on with crawling unstable connection.

sorry to see poor connection there bro. i averaging 10GB DL monthly haha. but now speed is crawling at 30-50kbps, hardly can DL anything...
