1. is there any EDGE line in my area??
im planning 2 use diz service..
but i need 2 compare it first with the other services..


2. so.. wat do u guys think about digi efge with the other services.. such as celcom broadband n maxis broadband?? which one of this services is better.
i heard a lot of compliment regarding dis digi edge.. but i need 2 assure it.. help me 2 tink bout diz guys..

get a digi simpack, then subscribe to fuyoh and try out their daily unlimited RM8. see if you like it. if yes, then subscribe to their RM66/month plan

BBB have good coverage of EDGE.... same to maxis (HSDPA) but celcom only UMTS (sometimes u can get HSDPA but its rare happened)......

Celcom suck at BBB due to its UMTS coverage. U can't surf when u get UMTS signal and HSDPA signal is rare to happen.. . But once u r HSDPA signal, ur download speed very fast... . U can torrenting but celcom may be filtering the speed so u can't get full dowload speed... . Forgot to mention that u'll face frequent disconnection when using this service .

Maxis coverage is good and ZTE modem show always HSDPA signal. However when rains comes, the signal change to UMTS but still acceptable. The problem is, with both signal u think u get good speed but its not in case with maxis. Even u get HSDPA ur download speed r unacceptable for high reputation company. And never ever thinking about torrenting... .

DIGI is good for this area. Download speed also acceptable although slower compare maxis and celcom (EDGE remember!! ).U can torrenting if that u want but don't expect higher speed more than 30KB/s. Page loaded bit slower compare those 2 company due high latency.

My conclusion, im stick to DIGI due its stablity compare those 2 but sometimes i can't hold my patience when its come at download speed (average 20 ~ 27KB/s). Now im already thinking to get another wireless broadband but still searching which ISP r the best in term of download speed and stabilty. Ohhh, other think u need to know about wireless broadband and i think all provider face the same thing. Speed slower at night due to congestion. So don't expect too much when surfing/downloading at night especially 8pm ~ 12am
other thing, all provider set a cap limit except DIGI but i think DIGI also will implement cap limit when they start using 3G.

so u conclude that digi EDGE i gud 4 download but worse in surfing internet.
but maxis n celcom is gud 4 surfing but worse in download..

actually im not a dowload hustler.. i prefer surfing the internet.. 2 find information ( assignment ma )

TARC isit means every TARC oso hav? how bout UTAR tat situated beside TARC? got coverage oso a?

I don't say that DIGI EDGE good for downloading.. but it still acceptable... however if u have experience using faster BB then u'll not satisfied with DIGI EDGE like me.. hehhee (although my download average speed is 27KB/s).
for good surfing, u'll need BB with low latency like celcom, maxis....... maxis is good for lite user like u but not me...
i can't explain more about maxis because i use maxis only 3 month before terminate it due slow download speed...

i cant seem to find any stall selling this d'campus starter pack in TARC Kampar..
anyway Kampar doenst have the EDGE signal

Last nite (29 August, 11pm-1am), unable to surf and direct download, got disconnected summore, i think digi edge starts to give me headache ..

however, rite now connection is excellent..

sometime it happened to my edge too maybe some network upgrade/down

once in a while...

just like after i call DiGi CS complain my living area edge is slow, after they've investigate & 'tune' it back to normal speed, few days later will back to slow

once in a while is better than 3times a week , compared to my sister who uses maxis 384k, always get disconnected at nite..

how slow is ur connection? below 100kb/s?

nite time btw 9+ - 12 below 30kb/s

fast only at morning till before 9pm

yeah very slow recently....will terminate it middle of this mth

then, why dont u change to other ISP? are u bound by contract?
