QUOTE(iRonTech @ May 10 2008, 07:50 PM) T500 seem pretty good, idea for pci-e / usb, built with audio path as well yes, i did compare with fren's D68, digi slower but much stable on the connection. QUOTE(BeckhamSoccerTips @ May 10 2008, 09:13 PM) Guys, to be specific it will be wimax platform not 3G platform-do you notice how unstable and unreliable is broadband on maxis and celcom-even if they go 3.5G the reliability and speed still sucks...QUOTE(fruitie @ May 10 2008, 09:45 PM) are you a knob?edge is 2.5G so of course it will not have 3G-384kbps speed. Digi average surfing speed is 200kbps, while the maximum a phone modem can support is up to 296kbps aka N82, 6120 classic and so on.... |

QUOTE(GameSky @ May 10 2008, 09:23 PM) QUOTE(fruitie @ May 10 2008, 09:45 PM) besides the technical max figure, don't expect digi edge speed like ur celcom d68.. my connections:- KL.. day time always fast but night time congested PG..autoworld city area fastest MLK.. not that fast, but very smooth connection |

Its ok if you're using it alone...and don't compare much with the speed since DiGi haven't rolls out their 3G plan, yet.
Although the speed is around 225~254kbps...but...it OVERCOMES celcom's 3-gay- bb much in term of service quality and also customer support. celcom...sure, fast...but always dc or always got service interruptions [they won't tell you about this, and they keep telling you its your fault until you're like "wtf"-mode then they'll tell you the truth]<--- you call that customer SUPPORT? DiGi > celcom. period. |

I'm going to use it alone, so shouldn't be a problem right? How about BT? Does anyone try using EDGE for BT?
If yes, care to tell me the speed? I'm fine if it is around 15kB or better still more than that. This post has been edited by fruitie: May 12 2008, 03:39 AM |

BT/emule/Xunlei b4(using phone can't BT too much, will drain the battery after 4 hours although while charging/downloading If yes, care to tell me the speed? On my exp on BT with EDGE, max speed you can get is ~24kbps...tho moderate speed is around 15-18kbps.
One thing for sure, no bandwidth cap and also bt block protocol or even emule block. |
