im a x-maxsuck user and currently celcom user which my speed not very good. D98 (3.6Mbps) but get speed below 150 Kbps. Its ridiculous. Even test at HSDPA get same speed. Now thinking get digi but need more feedback as i must expect Digi slower than 'farter' celcom and maxis... pls share

my digi edge at 202kbps is already slow...smile.gif somemore yours on 3.6mbps-is this 3G speed or 3.5G? is only running around 150kbps...seems like Celcom is conning you man......

my experience with MAXIS "Broad"Band, Location : Meru Town....comment : takes ages to connect and also to load Yahoo.com page.....waited for 5 minutes than give up liaw........
Conclusion : Meru Town=MAXIS SLOWBand

Even though digi edge is slow but they are very consistent in their speed......

I would assume Digi 3G broadband to be more stable compare to their competitor cause Digi is using WIMAX which have more faster speed than 3G and HSDPA.

here is my digi edge test at shah alam sk16....

for ur info... 150kbps is 3.5G (HSDPA)... if UMTS i can understand although digi edge better (suppose UMTS better).. now im considering terminating my celcom (just use 4 days) however tech guy said they r upgrading their facilities... I also heard many good comment from celcom user n this is y throw my maxis... Now im thinking about DIGI due its stability... the problem here is DIGI is edge tech n its far from HSDPA.. People who never use other than DIGI will not know than my old maxis can download 75KB/s (RM78-HSDPA) and celcom i heard around 150 KB/s (HSDPA-D98).. But now their prime speed had past n their current speed suck... thats y i need ISP with stable connection..
Can DIGI sim card use at USB modem like Huawei e220?

Sorry for disturbing, if I can ask is there any limited download bandwidth policy on Digi EDGE?
I might consider terminating my Celcom which only allows 5GB download bandwidth that is absolutely too little especially with heavily injected graphics and flash websites on the Internet.

Appreciate if someone can help on this matter. smile.gif

Thanks. biggrin.gif rclxm9.gif
I will wait for Celcom to reply me in these 3 working days, can say 80% I'll be terminating it. biggrin.gif
I'll get RM 123 package that tied with 24 months contract with DiGi EDGE data line, Asus EeePC and Asus Modem. I'm on desktop now and need something portable for mobility, not need to be high spec and EeePC is just nice for me, though the HDD size is not big but I have portable HDD. icon_idea.gif
Luckily my sister signed up a supplementary credit card line for me, so I can use it for this package. biggrin.gif icon_idea.gif

Anybody that subscribes to this package? Can let me know if the modem comes with USB converter? smile.gif I'll be using it on my desktop, so with USB is more convenient. smile.gif

I read through this thread and it seems DiGi is quite stable right? biggrin.gif

Thanks, I'll subscribe soon. Sister gives a green light to this. rclxm9.gif

I can't afford to wait for DiGi to release 3G because I'm doing final year project now. smile.gif
