Err. I thought it is normal to have 20-25kB/s download speed? I get that too all the time. smile.gif
I'm at MMU Malacca and Port Dickson, both areas have full signal of EDGE.
I went to Genting two weeks back and I did use it when I was in hotel, full signal of EDGE too.
It is quite common to get full signal of EDGE. Where is your area? Your signature shows you are getting not so good speed. hmm.gif

I'm from Sitiawan, PERAK. <~~ Google Earth to find it! But so far i dunt have any problem such as cant UL @ DL (DL do prob, sometimes. I even DL PSP iso games! Takes 2days for 1GB! rclxub.gif rclxub.gif )

I have friend, which is Telcom Engineering for DiGi and he told that EDGE will covered Malaysia fully maybe 1 or 2 years.... doh.gif

I was a user of Celcom broadband, nevertheless the coverage is wider and speed is faster. But do not forget of the petty 5GB of fair usage policy. That means once you have exceeded the allowed bandwidth, your speed will be throttled to slower speed. D68 - 384kbps will suffer 64kbps of capped speed while D98 - Up to 3.6Mbps will suffer 128kbps. Not forgetting, the service is not stable.
So, it is your choice to have faster speed but with fair usage policy or more stable speed without fair usage policy.

Remark: The above statements were made solely based on my opinion as a Celcom Broadband user.

No doubt, Celcom has the widest coverage. So, if your area is not covered by DiGi EDGE, give yourself a try on Celcom. The speed is good and etc. Just the 5GB Fair Usage Policy is not that interesting though, not so stable but acceptable. smile.gif
I believe that is possible but maybe you need to pay another round of stamp duty - RM 10.00.

Current speed, degraded download speed but with improved upload speed.
Anyway, I still manage to download my dose despite the low download speed.

enjoy unlimited celcom broadband until celcom finally capped u acc few month later. Celcom give me 6 month unlimited broadband trial. laugh.gif

A friendly reminder, your data usage is reaching the allocated 5GB/ mth (Celcom Broadband Policy). Pls reduce your usage to avoid having your speeds managed.

Dear Sir/Ms, you have exceeded the 5GB/ mth usage as per Celcom Broadband policy. We reserve the right to control yr broadband speed when deemed

From 31st to today, I've used up more than 5GB on EDGE. biggrin.gif If I were on Celcom broadband, my speed could have capped by now.

The bad thing about DiGi EDGE is I can't torrent, a lot of active seeds but it just cannot move. sweat.gif doh.gif Anyway, direct download is possible and its speed will stay constantly.
