Guys, I might be subscribing to DiGi EDGE because I'm a D' Campus user and I only need to pay RM 30 for one month unlimited usage. I've a few questions here and hoping someone could help to answer them.

I tried slotting in my DiGi SIM card and my area has full coverage of EDGE. So the maximum speed I can get? What about torrent? Can my MSN Messenger be connected using it? How about images or files uploading?

I'm sick of Celcom broadband. Expensive but unreliable. The upload speed is miserably little thus it makes me difficult to post on LYN and upload any images or attachments to my e-mail.

I'm hoping for positive outcome on DiGi EDGE. I don't mind slower speed but at least I know it is stable.

Uploading images is still a pain with DiGi EDGE but stability wise it is good and speeds are pretty consistent. Well, I don't think so the upload speed is really the main factor for the posting difficulties with Celcom Broadband as the upload speed with DiGi EDGE isn't that great after all but still there's no problem replying in this forum.

As long as it doesn't upload halfway and goes to error page.
Sounds logical. so that means the download speed for Celcom is also crazy?
I tried using EDGE to post yesterday and to my surprise, though it is slow but it can be posted easily...

Maximum speed it depends, can be as high as 26KB/sec downloads Avg expect around 150kbps to 200kbps (also depends)

MSN messenger is not a problem. As for images and file uploading, it'll be slow but the speed is bearable. Just make sure to pray that you don't get any idle timeouts (it happens at times depending)

2. first month payment is how much ? can online payment ?
3. monthy payment is RM66 or RM99 ? I was confused.

2. No payment on first month. Register at Digi Center and you can use it after 48 hours. Yes, you can pay online.
3. RM 66 for Data only. I believe RM 99 is for Data + voice plan

No problems, just plug and play and you're good to go

DiGi's EDGE is contract free. Advance payment would be RM66 but the package is not inclusive of modem (seperate purchase unless promotion bundle). So first bill, a RM10 stamp duty and 5% tax is included as well
