QUOTE(pornstar @ Jun 6 2008, 04:30 PM) Just got my digi edge!!have to say that speed is nothing to be desired..but at least its better than nothing. Currently im using my Nokia 6630. speeds are as below. Did the test in Curtin, Miri (Sarawak). For modem, you can choose based on your budget and type of connection (eg. PCMCIA slot or USB) I'm using W660i as modem temporarily before buying the modem.![]() i would really like to have a dedicated modem for my connection though. Any suggestions? |

QUOTE(pornstar @ Jun 6 2008, 06:08 PM) will certain modem have better performance compared to the others? for example between the AT&T Option GT MAX 3.6 Express and the ZTE MF622? I'm not so sure about the performance, but easily getting connected as long as the area got signal. Maybe you need to ask the forumer who selling the modem. |

QUOTE(yshear @ Jan 7 2009, 11:21 AM) hi there, i plan to terminate my celcom bb and change to digi edge to save my blood pressure... If your celcom bb is contractless plan, you can terminate straight away and pay the bill. If you tied with contract, you need to pay the penalty.a question to ask, can i use usb modem - vodafone e172 to connect? thx... QUOTE(nosbleed @ Jan 7 2009, 11:23 AM) Digi EDGE support up to 26++KBps, while for broadband, i'm not sure which one you refer to. |

Kindly state your location. Make sure you use "diginet" as access point
I receive a call from Digi just now after making a report to them about slow speed at my area yesterday. So efficient, unlike Celcom.... |

QUOTE(stanleyloh @ Mar 11 2009, 03:14 PM) Few more questions about DigiEDGE: 1. No contract. Can terminate anytime you like1. contract for how many year ? 2. first month payment is how much ? can online payment ? 3. monthy payment is RM66 or RM99 ? I was confused. Thanks. 2. No payment on first month. Register at Digi Center and you can use it after 48 hours. Yes, you can pay online. 3. RM 66 for Data only. If you want Data + voice, add few more bucks This post has been edited by soundsyst64: Mar 11 2009, 03:20 PM |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Mar 12 2009, 12:57 AM) Aww. Sad. But it's OK. I do have some, about once within a week or month and sometimes the network went idle for couple of minutes before went active. Do you guys often get disconnection on DiGi EDGE? I just got my first disconnection. So far everything loads pretty fast. QUOTE(stanleyloh @ Mar 12 2009, 08:14 AM) fruitie, Digi EDGE CAN'T download anything from RS if you use Free Account because of Shared IP thingy. I have test it before and it doesn't work. You need to get Premium account in order to access it.last night soundsyst64 replied me in "celcom BB" that DigiEDGE can download RS & BT without problem. Which means it must be not shared IP. For BT, there's no problem. You can BT as much as you can. This post has been edited by soundsyst64: Mar 12 2009, 08:54 AM |
