My phone also can detect DiGi 3G, but cannot connect. Sometimes connected no line.

Guys, I might be subscribing to DiGi EDGE because I'm a D' Campus user and I only need to pay RM 30 for one month unlimited usage. I've a few questions here and hoping someone could help to answer them.

I tried slotting in my DiGi SIM card and my area has full coverage of EDGE. So the maximum speed I can get? What about torrent? Can my MSN Messenger be connected using it? How about images or files uploading?

I'm sick of Celcom broadband. Expensive but unreliable. The upload speed is miserably little thus it makes me difficult to post on LYN and upload any images or attachments to my e-mail.

I'm hoping for positive outcome on DiGi EDGE. I don't mind slower speed but at least I know it is stable.

1. contract for how many year ?
2. first month payment is how much ? can online payment ?
3. monthy payment is RM66 or RM99 ? I was confused.

1. No contract. Can terminate anytime you like
2. No payment on first month. Register at Digi Center and you can use it after 48 hours. Yes, you can pay online.
3. RM 66 for Data only. I believe RM 99 is for Data + voice plan

Man, I'm using DiGi EDGE now and I seriously love the stability.

Windows Live Messenger can be easily connected.

Though it is slow but it is smooth.

Gonna finish off my Celcom broadband 5GB quota today.

As i newly registered, it gonna cost an ADVANCE payment, RM66 (without modem) once u registered. So the 1st bill doesnt need to pay anything. 

No doubt EDGE is more stable compared to Celcom but the download speed is miserably slow. I believe it is the users congestion issue.

Might think of other options now, but as far as I know Maxis 3G has yet to reach my campus.

Else gonna suffer another 3 more months. I admit the sudden slow down on download speed makes me crazy. Maybe there is a trade, you can't have stability and fast speed together. Well, at least this applies to my location.

Yeah, but around 25kB/s, is sufficient already.

I noticed the slow upload speed recorded but the truth is I face no problem in uploading files to my email. I usually simultaneously attach 5 files one shot, approximately 120kb for each file. It can be uploaded less than 1 minute.
