Last time I paid less than RM 300. Because 10k km service labor charge is free.

You can refer to website below for simple estimation and parts mandatory to change. The engine oil quoted here is mineral oil. For us upgrade to Fully Synthetic oil 10-20W add another RM 50 like that...

https://www.honda.com.my/model/maintenance/city?id=51

So if the SC next time quote additional items other than these, please question them will it void warranty if not change that additional item...SC normally will quote extra items to earn more....so always check first.
*
Dont ask service advisor if it voids warranty. Just straight out say, NO remove these extra item.

If we read warranty booklet, it shows the item that need servicing like engine oil, oil filter etc etc. Refusing those and only those will void your warranty.

Honda City Hybrid brochure leaked at pxxltan. HM cut spec on LED headlamp, no led fog lamp, no leather interior, no spare tyre and no ducktail spoiler.

I have to see the price first. Because the led headlamp and led fog lamp is kinda attracting me too. Hard to choose haha

For Rm89k is a very good deal. Just only pay Rm 5k more for hybrid system & LED rear lights (Rm 3k). Surely will kill CFL E spec.

Dammit! Should have waited for this E+Hybrid variant. bangwall.gif HM really pulled this nasty surprise out of the hat.
On the flip side, hybrids have really lousy RV. I wont be surprised if it ends up lower than my Espec.

Want to ask owners here. Isit ok put gear to N when stopping at traffic lights, etc? I usually put N & handbrake for my manual car previously so its a habit I carry over.

Indeed Rv will be lower. After 5yrs noone dare to buy ur car because of the battery. I wonder how much they charged the battery replacement. Look at AUDI A6 price.

Ello Sifu2 honda city,

I am currently in the midst of buying my first car and so far due to my budget am stuck between vios (cough cough) and city. I have been asking frenz and family and both are divided in their opinions. I would like to ask you all if you have any regrets/issues over buying a city over other cars and any advice given I deeply appreciate it.

FYI, the car will be my primarily used for transport to work and other needs. Will be driving it around Selangor area and maybe will be using it to travel across other states for road trips.

Sigh, car registered today. Damn you Honda for keeping it so well under wraps. ranting.gif ranting.gif ranting.gif'

Consoling myself. It's 7K more exp (82K vs 89K without insurance price). Plus I had 5.6K discount and doubt the hybrid has. So it's 12K cheaper. Hopefully I can sleep better.

Warranty or not, battery performance will be down after 3-4 years if use EV mode to max. I dont think warranty covers battery degradation. And surely nobody wants EV mode that only covers 50% range for brand new. So RV will always be affected.
