Under RM100K  range ? Mazda 2 / Honda City and Honda Jazz ...why do u need to know ? Buying a car not only about fuel consumption ...u need to consider driving experience and comfortability as well ..

As mentioned many many times before, fuel consumption is a very subjective matter. There are several factors that play a part towards it.

This guy always look down on CVT. But time round his Vios MT lose to our City CVT.. His Vios rev to certain RPM then release clutch and handbrake. The City also rev to 4k rpm with brakes then release brakes. So actually i find it fair and square.
Pickup is important for me to overtake cars. Even though disc brakes are better but due to our car is light, drum brake is sufficient. Braking distance comparison was shown in one of Paultan video before. City lose to just abit.

The only reason people still buys vios is becoz:
1) With huge discounts now, its much more cheaper
2) Its godcar. Nuff said
3) According to lowyat myth, it attracts more amois
4) Parents/unkers/aunties/distant relatives says toyota quality > all
5) Parents/unkers/aunties/distant relatives says toyota RV > all
6) More comfy (bouncy?) on uneven roads
7) Saw the vios drift advert and think its easier to it rice-up
8) Smaller car, easier to park
9) The 360 cameras is rather interesting
10) Family, relatives, frens, FB contacts, etc, are toyota loyalists

U test driven both. Which u think is better suited for ur driving style? Vios dun have telescopic steering, so it limits ur reach.

Compare the different kits for both cars, which is more useful for u? And the looks as well.

These standards are the basics of the basics of the car industry.
Even proton vendors have it. Just that proton & its vendors did very shitty job on implementing them.

Hey genius, Toyota has been dominating Malaysian market for donkey years, ofc you'll see more old Toyota on the road. But I don't see many old Honda breaking down on the road like you claimed. So another of your theory goes down the drain.

Honda is by no means a perfect car. But at least Honda doesn't treat Malaysia like a fool like UMW Toyota that strips all the latest tech & have the guts to tell us VSC is not important. Apparently because you can drift with vios, everything is fine. Haha.

This is so funny . Why do buyer have to know so many knowledge to get a car ? Nowadays very easy to make a decision , Vios offer 4speed auto , no VSA , juz forget about it ... Pay RM75K for this spec ,only uncle aunty will get this car .

Now , Toyota knew about this , go refresh the Vios and simply put in CVT and VSA to attract new buyer , too late already . With the ugly interior and whole car design , there is no way to attract ppl to pay Rm75k-90k for this car ....

Engine robustness? My myvi using 4speed auto 150k mileage also no issue ...thats why Vios 4speed auto can last that long . Dohc sohc ? As long as engine responsive and powerful enuf , who really care it's not DOHC ?

Vios fan will only keep mentioning Honda city gm6 no rear disk brake . Wait till u want to change brake pad ,then only u jump upside down when it cost rm350 for brake pad for rear .drum brake IS DEFINITELY CHEAPER .with my new Goodyear assurance triplemax, I still confidently drive at high-speed 140km/h even with drum brake .

Honda totally outpaces themselves compared with last year. And then last year was already an amazing year. Totally leaves Toyota in the dust.
