QUOTE(glauncher @ Mar 21 2017, 12:05 PM) Hi sifus, I'm looking for a car for my sales job and prefer more safety, fuel saving, and reliability. My budget allows me for Honda City 1.5L S or VIOS 1.5J (AT). For that comparion both has same safety feature. But vios is heavier and give slighter comfier drive at high speeds. But this also means higher gas consumption due to heavy. So far from what I research, seems VIOS have more safety like vehicle stability control and fuel saving on par with City with CVT. I'm not expert in this so would like to ask, what do you think? Thanks Honda lighter, better fuel consumption but less comfort at high speed unless you modify. Also look into Mazda 2. Slight downside is cabin space abit cramped. Or if you really look into safety and high fuel saving, bezza advance spec has same safety feature with additional front sensors. |

QUOTE(axsatr @ Apr 30 2017, 07:34 PM) Guys, I need your unbiased opinion; Did you also try perodua bezza and/or proton persona? Same range of sedan you should check out and test drive.I don't want to begin a new thread and attract unwanted trolls, so I'd just like to ask directly to owners instead. Yesterday, I tested both the Vios (GX) and City (V). Currently, I'm using my parents MyVi and I'm planning to upgrade to either City (S) or Vios (J) The MyVi is honestly just fine, FC is very good (average 6 l/100km from my Fuelly), service is very cheap and it's very reliable. The drawback is the poor driving posture (arms hurt), safety (no VSC and shitty handling - evasive manouveres not ricer) and it's not mine (parents car is getting old, I should really return this back to them. They don't mind, but I do) Anyway, what's the key difference between Vios (J) and City (S). So far I'm leaning towards the City for the following reasons; i) FC seems good, roughly like the MyVi ii) Quieter than the Vios - Vios engine very noisy under hard acceleration iii) More spacious than Vios iv) Cheaper than Vios v) Maintainence seems reasonable - slightly more expensive from the MyVi vi) Has buttons on steering as standard vii) Stock HU looks better to me viii) Foldable rear seats - Vios don't have right? Am I missing something with the Vios? Why are people still buying them? Is the Vios more reliable? Or is the built quality better? How about rattling, is it bad? What is the most obvious advantage that the Vios has over the City? Any of you regretting getting this City? Sorry for typing here for too long, thanks I also upgrade from myvi to honda city V and decided to go for city just because the interior or vios seems super old/obsolete. My regret perhaps is not trying out vios for a test drive but other than that, i have no issue for city pre-facelift. At the time of buying there was no bezza so perhaps if bezza was there, I would have a lot harder time deciding what class B car to buy. My friends opinion: Vios is abit heavier so ride is more stable than city. City lighter so wobbly at high speeds. I dunno since I dont drive beyond speed limit much. |

QUOTE(dman @ May 6 2017, 11:09 AM) Finally after near 3yrs, my wipers cap finally got stollen! Chair leg rubber cover has been suggested. See first page man, its been discussed.Anyone got same experience? Any suggestion / solution or any alternate cap can be use? After mine got stolen in drug infested state(not saying which), I bought replacement on lelong.com and super glue the fuck out of it. QUOTE FL dont have this indicator cry.gif Wow why they took out something so basic... Anyway, after starting your car, just wait 5-6 minutes. No need depend on indicator. Usually thats how long we have to wait if we watch indicator. |

QUOTE(kaicherc @ May 23 2017, 09:29 AM) anyone know that what sound is your car alarm ? and how to trigger it ? damn if alarm make noise also dunno is my car . I activated mine unknowingly at gas station, luckily not much people and handled it cooly.I cant remember the exact sequence, but I used the key in the remote (exposed by taking off the remote shell). Usually in gas station, I leave the engine running, lock car with key, then buy snack and unlock the car using the key (all while engine still running). But one time I either: 1)Off engine. Use key to lock the car. When return, use remote to unlock. 2)Off engine. Use remote to lock car. When return, use key to unlock. 3)Off engine, use key to lock, then unlock car. I cant remember which one, because as I did one of these my car go into alarm mode. I push the deactivation button according to sequence (A times,B times, C times, D times), then alarm off. One year and only one time happened. |

QUOTE(AaronLJW @ May 31 2017, 10:29 AM) Let the ECU understand your driving habit for the 1000km after 1k service at Honda, your FC will improve over the time, but that also depend on your foot too. Bro, what would you recommend to increase driving comfort at average speeds? 80km/h to 120km/h.This is my best record drive within Klang Valley [attachmentid=8862005] Nowadays I can only manage to hit 500-600km in between due to change of performance tyres and naughty right leg (keep revving You can install Ultra Racing Safety Bar Stage 1 (Front Strut Bar + Rear Anti-Roll Bar) is enough. I won't sacrifice comfort and being too stiff for your car. You can drive up to 180kph on stock no problem QUOTE yes FL HU is very disappointing... really can't do much... I visited the new FL city when renew insurance. I cant find a single USB below the HU. I asked my usual agent there and he also went around looking for it. After few mins I ciao already. At least the good thing is leather seats for the FL, grill bumpers and head lights. |

QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Jun 17 2017, 10:00 AM) Ya you're right, I made booking at later date..later call they say can check during service. But need check first , if agreed kong, they need order and replace at later date. Pretty annoying since I travel a lot.Absorber under warranty, hopefully can get replacement. I find out when doing tyre check at outside shop and they suprised to find condition of my absorbers. I think Kong because places I go have very bad entry road. One destination has around 50 holes and I drive at 5km/h for 10 minutes. |

QUOTE(soitsuagain @ Jun 22 2017, 09:06 AM) congrats! Thats why put bodykit so none looks the same I see soo many City nowadays like the Proton then lol anyway remember to call ur 1k and 10k service appt 2/3 weeks in advance... So many type nowadays, modulo so boring. Just book appointment one week ahead. If one service center full, just try another near to your area. Unless you target weekends, in that case earlier will guarantee you a spot. One week ahead may not. |

QUOTE(tangJW1 @ Jun 25 2017, 03:52 AM) Anyone added a transparent piece of plastic to cover their headlamp? To slow down the headlamp from turning yellow & scratches? Is it necessary? Added convenience and safety if you're forgetful to lock doors. When I went for my 1st 1k KM service, the service advisor promoted me this "Auto D lock" product. It is a mechanism that allows the door to be locked when gear is in D and unlocked when the gear is in P. Anyone bought it? Is it really necessary and useful? I mean we can lock the door once we get into the car right? Any added value of that product? But here's the thing, you should manually lock doors as soon as you get in a car when in public areas. Not when change gear from P. So not necessary, not useless either. |

QUOTE(ahping1985 @ Jun 25 2017, 11:38 AM) Pre FL V spec . For added safety, simple DRL.Install ultra racing stage 1 . Strut bar and anti roll bar . Seems not much difference only a slight difference when taking out of highway or entering highway. So any other safety things recommended ? So far only tinted screen and safety bar installed . Side body turn signals(those small lamps between front bumper and driver door) so better indication of turning. Pedal lock. Dashcam. Cheapest recommendation, drive in a safe manner |

QUOTE(LinkZ @ Jun 27 2017, 10:46 PM) Hi friends, Adoi kena over charger already.Question, I initially requested to install modulo kits to my honda city (v specs) 2017 but my SA told me noneed to go for the original kit as the one sold in panel is 100% the same...ori cost RM2900, panel cost RM2000. Is this true? Anyone encounter this? If really 100% the same, i rather go for panel. Thanks. Order at Honda no point since warranty only 6 months and super expensive.afaik, people go to panel install body kit if they no idea where to install outside. Bezza bodykit is the worst when order n install at panel perodua, they delay my fren car by months and defect after one week. Yours also expensive, dunno how low warranty. For that price you could get some other type of kit like mugen or sportivo. |
