So far it's land clearing only as MAIS is still raising funds for the construction (hence the banners put up). Last time sales agents said it's gov land reserved for police station, bomba etc, but that's the old plan and they didn't know about the latest development.

Hmmm...land allocated to bomba and pilice station can become religion place???

Ot sime darby swapped the land for mosque, assumr sime owned it.

the government land reserved for police station, bomba still exists in latest plan by MBPJ.

there will also be a community hall (dewan orang ramai) next to the existing pond in the center of that land, according to MBPJ plan.

yes you are right. there is still lack of funds for construction of the mosque hence the banner put up.

As you can see item 1 to 6, initially it was for PERUMAHAN (housing) then MBPJ amend the plan to have the amenities (pos office, bomba, polis etc.)

Personally I reckon this MBPJ latest plan is better as less housing and density in that locality.

and pos office can prove useful to the community there too.

I drive that that small road everyday after work, the Masjid will come eventually, the area is cordoned off and banners are up on the barriers asking for donations for the Masjid to be up. costs 15M it'll be built eventually. I can see some works being done to clear that land.

Which developer does this belonged to? I don't think I would want to consider this prop if the masjid is built. Apparently it is a masjid that has also 4 kuarters kediaman. OMG!

I foresee anyone buying as investment to be stuck if such development is approved. Unless of course all buyers are targetted Muslims. But my muslims friends also say, not good as the traffic would be horrible, they also don't desire to live so near to masjid, not to mention the kuarters. However high end the surrounding condo will be, the lowest end property will drag everyone around, down.

A police station would be perfect for me actually. I wouldn't mind. The entire area has horrible traffic and illegal driving plus parking is like everywhere.

But a mosque, no offense to Muslim, seriously but a Friday will be enough to destroy everyone there from moving.

Sorry but I can't seem to understand the plan too much. You said the latest plan is better? So the Masjid earth work now is being done. Is that their latest plan? If yes, how can it be better? If you said a post office/police station, yes, then I fully agreed it will be better. The housing here is already in abundance I must say. Just look the small perimeter, we have Potpourri, Puncak Nusa Kelana, Puncak Seri Kelana, Urbana Residences, then Ara Tre. 5 Condominium within the perimeter of , maybe a bad estimate of 400meter? If one condos caters to 1200 head count. There is already 6000 ppl in the small area. Sime Darby area also, is not populated yet now but if it comes up one day, can you imagine the traffic going around there? It would be unlivable.

the older plan was that the land directly besides Puncak Nusa Kelana was zoned for PERUMAHAN (housing).

Then in MBPJ 2018 latest plan, MBPJ rezoned that area for the amenities (post office, police station, dewan orang ramai, balai bomba).

So personally i think it is better to build these amenities than another housing, so not to further increase the density in that locality.

The MAIS planned mosque land is the land adjoining to this MBPJ amenities land.

Both are under different authorities.

I think as Malaysians, we all need to learn to know more about other faiths. some said here might be true but others might not be. Just be fair.

I know many ppl kpkb on Friday pray and traffic jam, but has anyone here stop and think about our school's traffic, especially those international and private school? how many soccer mums park their vellfire or alpha at roadside to pick up their gems to and off school? And this is happened EVERYDAY, TWICE a day.

and why there is no huge reaction if a school is built?
