noticed that...they even lied on speedtest result on3g...

even mcmc doesnt want to settle with TM's...webe is TM's .pretty sure they're immune to any skmm/mcmc actions...unless other telco like digi..skmm cepat je bertindak..if tm? your report will be automatically closed by them instead... hopeless..

i already paid webe for the april bil.. so i guess i just have to wait till end of april to jumpship to digi...

but demn... webe had such promising start...

webe has TM, the largest bandwidth in malaysia as the backbone...

webe has celcom, one of the widest coverage of 3g in malaysia to ride on...

but still couldnt deliver what he has promised with its stupid 2mbps capping thingy...

+ cs that either taichi or blame customer for webe problem.. seems tm is quite immune to any action by skmm.....

Hmm.... Now scratching head which one should I go for.
Currently using Webe, constant and stable 10Mbps 4G at my area, but
-Youtube capped
-tether from phone as hotspot, sometimes disconnected when playing Dota 2, need to reenable bypass method
-cant surf internet while calling
-need to wait or manual set to 3G then 4G after call to get 4G
-after Webe capped celcom 3G at 2Mbps, the situation without 4G frustrated further

If I change to Digi 5Mbps, coverage much better, but
-I get half the speed most of the time at home when updating Steam Games
-not sure the trick that I am using can bypass 5GB tether limit
-I have to pay RM20 more (I am using 3rd line)

Digi can surf internet while calling?

Easy to bypass digi80 tethering.
1.modem port forwarding.
2. Vpn
Then your digi80 will become digi150.

Speed won't capped at 5Mbps anymore?

I got my sim card already after subscribing online on yesterday night~ straight away go Digi store pickup~

I have to do it traditional way, point the phone upward wandering around to get signal, which in fact doesn't help at all haha...well its just an auto reactions

Just simply go into any Digi store and they will give u a new sim, they said the sim deliver to u will become dummy~

how to compare lah with maxis/digi/celcom as they already here in malaysia for a decade+

webe's services is barely 1yr old, there is still a lot of catching up, learning, tweaking, improvements, finetuning, to be done.


i too felt the strain with webe. considering jump ship too for both mobile & broadband lines.

will get a digi 4g lte prepaid and test the performance first.

not bad at all.

which digi prepaid simcard did u get to temporary test your area? is it already 4G LTE activated out-of-the-box?

You can buy DiGi Best Prepaid and it has free 200MB after you activate it.

it's 300MB and RM5 inside, and also remember to download and install MyDigi apps before 31 March which is today the last day, then they will give you another 3GB, 1GB each for 3 months which is valid for 7 days usage~
