But a big chunk will be from electricity and water bill. I use about RM1.7k+- on electricity and about RM200-300 on water bills. The remaining RM500 I could spend on other things.

Still can get RM85 cashback on RM2.5k spend/month as shown above?

Why I'm asking the above because I'm worried it would be like the YouNique card from Alliance...thought can get RM90 cashback but it's only RM50 max because the cashback is given out in tiers..

Btw, what's this auto bill payments? "Auto bill payments comprise of recurring bill payments from Insurance, Telco and Utilities"

Is it Standing Instructions? How does it work? rclxub.gif
*
Nope jz 1.7k (from your auto Billing from water, utilities, electricity) of 2.5k will get 15% CB & Other spend ($800) only 0.2% CB.

Set Your Monthly Billing or Insurance payment Automatic charge to SCB Just One CC is also refer as Standing Instructions or Auto Billing.

If you r Difficult hard to Achieve the 15% CB with SCB Jz One...
How About MBB 2 Cards it much Ez to get 5% CB as u jz only need to pay or Spend on Weekends to get 5% CB...

Usage for: online payment, especially flight ticket

In consideration:

2. Aeon big card- 2% cash back for online (is it also entitled for flight ticket)

Kindly advise, if have any other better choice also good.

Thanks in advance.

QUOTE(niafaz89 @ Apr 13 2017, 07:12 AM)
Hi guys,
I want to ask few things here since I am very new to this cc😁

1. My annual income is near to 60k(short by around 200 before 60k) and from what i read, most platinum cc put their minimum limit for annual income of 60k and i see some of cc got better deals when u become platinum holder compare to gold/silver(normally for those earn 24k and above before 60k)
My salary will increase on yearly basis/sometimes twice a year(hopefully🤗) and early next year, it will hit 60++k..
So is it better for me to apply normal cc(not platinum) or wait next year and apply for platinum?
Currently im holding aeon gold visa cc..im a heavy user of cc, my average usage is 2k per month but i normally pay full before due date...
All CTOS&CCRIS record are clear for now🤗

2. I am a frequent traveller-travel within malaysia(twice per month) from Sabah&Sarawak to KL and oversea at least four times every year(most of the country is either ASIA or ASEAN), so i want to know which cc gives better offer in term of purchasing flight ticket?
My current aeon granted 6times entry to airport lounge but i never use it before, x tau mcm mana mau guna😣

3. I got an offer for standard chartered cc with free 25k air asia big point but the downside got annual fee😞
Should i go for this or not🤔
25k miles plus my current one entitled me to redeem 5times flight ticket from sabah sarawak to kl...

4. Can someone suggest best cc for me as im new to this one, i have read from xyzgeneration blog, the threads and bebenang at other forum as well, but im still unclear for cashback and few others.

My spending cc habit(per month 2k)
Major-flight ticket(40%)
Average-(20%)-hotel, groceries, petrol
Around 5-10% utilities bill and f&b and sometimes online shopping

Tldr:
1. my income is yet to reach 60k, should i apply for normal cc or wait it hit 60k for some platinum cc 🤔 doh.gif
2. Best cc for purchasing flight ticket
3. How to use premium lounge privilege doh.gif
4. Whether to get one standard chartered cc or not🤔
5. Suggest me the best cc for my spending routine please cry.gif

Many2 thanks in advance notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif

I) PBB Quantum MasterCard
5% Cash Back on Online & Dining transactions, capped at RM30 per monthly statement cycle equivalent to RM600 spend. thumbsup.gif

II) UOB Yolo (Annual Fee: RM95.40)
6% CB for Online Spend, 3% CB on Dining
However, Total Monthly Spend:
RM0 - RM499 = 0 CB
RM500 - RM799 = Max. Cashback Capped at RM 20
RM800 & Above = Max. Cashback Capped at RM 50
https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4078891

Take III) SCB Cashback Gold: 2 - 5% CB with min spend $500, NO CB for Petrol, Insurance Transactions. However, It's Good on PTPTN Payment. It merely like your General Usage (atau dan lain2) or for emergencies use CC ie, HLB Essential, Alliance You:nique... Which give you extra benefits or CB that your Daily use CC don't have

Is there any huge difference between gold status n platinum cc holder🤔Seems like similar from maybank2u website😁

I read from sc website they got annual fee, how can we request for waiver😁

Anyway tq for your help😄
*
MBB 2 Plat. got Flight Insurance Coverage the Gold card tiada itu sahaja n Plat. may have Higher CL than Gold that's the difference yang lain benefit semua Same shj.

As for SCB Card call Customer Service to Request the AF Waiver from Them , when u have seen AF have charge on your Statement... I do the same also n never pay the AF since 2011.

Actually I can consider that.

For me, points are just points. It's important to see what the points are actually worth. Assuming I get 100K points by spending RM20k during the weekends with the card.

What can 100k points give me? I checked their treatpoints catalogue here: http://www.maybank2u.com.my/mbb_info/m2u/p.../PRO-Promotions

90k could get me RM200 vouchers..
To also add in RM50 for the 5% weekend cashback.

In total, I could get around RM250 worth of "cashback".
____________________________________________________________________________________________
Compare this with the 1% unlimited cashback from RHB, I get back only RM200 which is pure cashback..
____________________________________________________________________________________________

Oh btw, I need a Credit Limit of RM20k+ as well as I'll be buying the airplane tickets from Malaysia Airlines at one go..

fruitie I remember you mentioned that we could transfer our CL to other cards right? I got a MBB Ikhwan Petronas Visa and MBB Ikhwan Gold MC, each with 6K credit limit

If it's still insufficient, could we request for a higher CL?

on top of my mind, there are few good options:

1. MBB Amex (if merchant accepts + weekend) - 1.25% TP + RM50

2. HLB Essential - RM 30 (first RM 5000 spent) + 1% subsequent spend

3. HSBC Amanah MPower - RM 500 Lazada Code + 0.2%
