2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: yes (or call up cancel)

3. Card required for: Cash rebate for ONLINE

4. Existing credit cards : CIMB cash back platinum

5. Interested in CC from: UOB YOLO card

Basically I need anohter card for online spending. CIMB cash back platinum offer 5% rebate capped at RM600, which is not enough for me. I do a lot of online retail spending (small amt but stack up a lot). YOLO sounds ok - about 6% rebate with T&C. Is there any other card I've missed that offer online spending rebate?

Thanks guys!

Travel card. Citibank won.
Cash rebate. Uob & citibank

All less than 10% cash back. So sad, even petrol has capping. Bank wants to slaughter your money.

Now they open 'water tap' to lure more customers in.
*
Citibank or UOB Cards got Annual Fees + GST punya... sweat.gif

I rather get:

AmBank VISA Infinite Card /AmBank World MasterCard be my Travel CC,
• Free-For-Life, NO conditions attached
• Unlimited lounge access without condition
• Complimentary Hilton Premium Club Membership Card
(Note: Membership is automatically renewed annually with just a min retail usage of RM30,000)
•Air Miles Frequent Flyer / Travel Reward Programs (Note: 5,000 AmBonus points = 1,000 Air Miles)
http://www.ambank.com.my/eng/cards/visainfinite

As for Cash Back CC:
PBB Visa Signature -6% CB on Groceries, Dining, Online Spend It's a Lifetime Fee Waiver Card with 12x Swipes p.a. or MBB Ikhwan Mastercard - 5% Cash-Back on Petrol & Groceries, every Fri/Sat or CIMB CR Mastercard becos Its Free for Life.

Free is the BEST, Anything Free is Good. tongue.gif

1. Annual Income: 50-60k

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Yes/Automatic waiver under certain requirements (e.g. 12x swipes a year)

3. Card required for:
- Insurance: ~RM450 monthly
- Car Insurance (not sure if you can pay this with credit card though): ~RM1,300 annually
- Department Store (e.g. Parkson, AEON): occasionally
- Unifi: ~RM350 monthly (paying for both mine and parent's bill)
- Other spendings (e.g. dining, medical, car service): occasionally

4. Existing credit cards (I want to keep these cards, except for AEON):
- MBB Ikhwan Mastercard (for groceries and petrol)
- MBB Ikhwan Petronas Visa (for petrol and TouchnGo)
- CIMB CR (for occasional non-weekend petrol and groceries, online spending, mobile and utility bills, and retail spendings)
- AEON BiG Visa Gold (for Sunday petrol, 6x PPL access, and previously for posonilne sad.gif)

5. Interested in CC from: Any bank

6. Others: My current monthly spending on credit card is around 2.5k only, and it's currently spread across a few credit cards. I only use CC to pay for the things I need. Because of this, most tiered cashback CC are useless for me, since I cannot reach their spending requirement.

How about get a General Usage atau Dan Lain-lain CC as Spare Card, since You both got MBB Ikhwan & CIMB CR, already... icon_idea.gif

well, based on the links that you shared, it seems like they practiced like this. so, i am going for other banks 1st before coming back for citibank.

Ya, Try to get a Basic CC from the bank of your salary credit into... becos of they got your salary transaction info& maybe not too Stingy to approve their Credit Card to you.

You can own a basic credit card to Build up your Credit History 1st, the Card like CIMB CR or MBB Ikhwan MC quite a decent Card for a NewB like U becos of it's Free for Life no worry with Annual fee.
Other cards u can consider HLB Essential, HLB Mach AF waiver with 12x swipes p.a only.

After that, your may get 2nd CC & it can be something that offers extra benefits based on your lifestyle and spending habits like, UOB One or Citibank CB Card. wink.gif
