QUOTE(kit2 @ Feb 18 2017, 07:52 AM) from u's website: No thanks. I will stick with the monthly 1GB fast internet. For the new plan, you would need to buy a data pack as the basic data is too slow to even load whatsapp images.Who is eligible to subscribe to the new Unlimited Power Plan? All new U Mobile prepaid subscribers, effective from 17th February 2017 onwards, will automatically be activated on this new plan. For subscribers who are on the existing plan (Power Prepaid, New U Prepaid or U Prepaid plan) and wish to upgrade to the new Unlimited Power Plan, you can do so via UMB or SMS. |

It's rather weird. Power Prepaid plan still shows 7 cents per 30 seconds call.
http://u.com.my/powerprepaid But once you subscribed to UMI, it's 12 cents per 30 seconds call. http://u.com.my/umi U28 postpaid plan with 9 cents per 30 seconds call, now looks better. |

Actually, call rate nothing to do with UMI, it is just UM marketing people muddle up UMI with other things including free U-to-U calls.http://u.com.my/powerprepaid But once you subscribed to UMI, it's 12 cents per 30 seconds call. http://u.com.my/umi U28 postpaid plan with 9 cents per 30 seconds call, now looks better. In the UMI pages, they quote the call rate from the latest Unlimited Power plan. Call rate outside of any bundled UMI minutes will follow your prepaid plan, that is 20/14/24 sen/min for New/Power/Unlimited Power. Same goes for SMS rate, 3 or 8/8/12 sen. So good. Umobile prepaid just revised the broadband add-on which is from RM5/500MB/24 Hours to RM5/1.5GB/24 Hours. It's mean that if you are massively to use 450GB data in a month just cost you only RM150.

Does Umobile actually reply to your inquiry online from their "contact us" or facebook or it's just a lost cause and I should head straight to their center?
