very detailed illustration!

has been doing the topping up, but never considered the credit share part. numbers reactivated by credit share can use the free 1gb now? i tried when credit share was launched but it didn't work.

QUOTE(prosibu @ Feb 17 2017, 10:32 AM)
im not sure too. i just assume it works  blink.gif
hope wont let others misunderstand  sad.gif

Since there are 6 number vice versa to get free 1gb data internet, meaning that you need 3 smartphone device (with dual simcard) so that you can play like this trick..

QUOTE(JJKTP @ Feb 17 2017, 10:44 AM)
In general, it was quite a disappointing response from U Mobile.

The new prepaid package is the worst.

QUOTE(stephantsen @ Feb 17 2017, 10:48 AM)
they wn people to port out purposely? hope their 3x data will extend... if not there is no reason to stay with umobile anymore.
*
Seriously, this new U Mobile is getting less and less attractive compare with previous old U Mobile plan. shakehead.gif
The 3X data will extend only for UMI30 and UMI50, not applicable for others already.

Luckily, I still retain for the old U Mobile plan, coz top up RM10 at least 2x account validity. thumbup.gif
Else, I already move to other telco already..

Kinda suck nowadays Malaysia telco (marketing development plan) copy cat here, copy cat there... And become one ALL NEW Plan.
It's useless and not need use brain at all to develop something special for it. whistling.gif

I think this is typo error. I just try myself to switch back either using USSD or sms. It will charge stated that charge RM3 & SWITCH BACK TO NEW PLAN " UNLIMITED POWER" . Maybe Umobile will correct the USSD code later.
*
Then it quite confusing, there is another FAQ stated as below.

Switch Plan - I prefer Power Prepaid plan. Can I switch back to my previous prepaid plan from the new Unlimited Power plan?
Yes, you are allowed to switch back to Power Prepaid plan. However, subscribers of Power Prepaid plan can only switch to the Unlimited Power plan.

it sound like, "Yes, you can u turn. But this is one way."

you can always swap sim cards on your phone or mifi device. this has been discussed many times since power prepaid was launched.

I wonder is it possible to switch from Unlimited Power Prepaid to Older Power Prepaid. I'm pretty sure Unlimited Power Prepaid doesn't suit certain type of users. hmm.gif

Edit: Found the answer dry.gif

Just saw there is a new unlimited power plan but why it doesn't seem more attractive than my current power plan?

Is this "New U Prepaid Plan" still available?

Every month I got free 1gb basic internet, and got 2x credit validity (reload 10= 20 days validity)

i think umobile aware that their network is congested.so they try to minimize the congestion until further spectrum reallocation or deployment. more data is useless if you cannot use it.pain in the ass lor. and maybe umobile got enough fund already to funding their spectrum exersice.
after june maybe umobile will introduce new better deal as their network will improved.hehehehe
just wait and see.but without umobile crazy offer others telco will sit and relax and we as consumer will lose.
bigger data is good but high speed, stable ,low ping and less drop call is better deal. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif rclxms.gif

I heard some of my friends saying U-Mobile coverage is bad, even in KL area. Is that true?

Specifically where? I believe U Mobile coverage is acceptable in KL but their network capacity aren't on certain area.

At my place the coverage is ok, no LTE only 3G. I have been testing the speed to wherever I go. Some places are really good especially the town centre. Get a prepaid use it at the places you frequently go to. This is the only way you can get a true picture of the coverage and decide from there.

Meanwhile TM still relax with their so taknak turun harga streamyx. Harga speed copper 1Mbps pun harga dah cecah RM110.

I still using 4MBPS and I sent them expletive full of F-words to their support saying they are F-word jerk for charging us so expensive.
No reply until now. Hopefully they don't sue me for using F-words. icon_question.gif

Lucky u. My place max is 1Mbps. Fully covered by all telcos with 4G. And yet TM is still arrogant charging RM110 for 1Mbps. Nobody uses them anymore here

as per my comparison, the only cons of UMI 30 compared to p28 is:

umi30 has 30 mins call to all network while p28 has 50 mins
umi30 has no free sms while p28 has 200+100

other than that?
