Probably mid-January, is it? Can't wait until July 2017 for new spectrum reallocation to take place. That will essentially put UMOBILE on a level playing field with the BIG 3.

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Jan 3 2017, 06:40 PM)
Not good. Others are coming in closely already. So if UMobile doesn't rethink its strategy, then they will lose out ultimately.
*
after they got the strong base of the customer and coverage they will start to learn the big 3 , increase the price.

So if UMOBILE and MAXIS appeared on network search, is it ok to connect to MAXIS instead of UMOBILE to get better 3g service?

you can but exclude 4 places below

The locations at which the network will be shared do, however, exclude urban market centres, including the Klang Valley, Penang, Johor Bahru and Ipoh

U Mobile's Power Prepaid call rates has been increased from 6 sen to 7 sen per 30 seconds.
*
biggrin.gif
Didn't take them long to increase the call rate. It was increased to 6 sen last June 2016. Now 7 sen on Jan 2017.
If and when another 1 sen increase happens then they will no longer be the cheapest 30 seconds calling block.

I'm a umobile prepaid user. I mainly use my phone to receive calls and hardly make any outgoing calls. However I use the free high speed internet which comes with it.

Now I'm accumulating so much of credit and I am forced to top up monthly rm30 just to keep the line active and enjoy the high speed internet.

I wish umobile has a super long life whereby we can extend the validly to a year, unfortunately there is no such privilege.

Hence I'm seriously thinking of porting to BuzzMe soon.

When you have reached a certain amount RM200. Port to postpaid. The money can be used to offset the monthly U28 bill for example.
Then when that RM200 is used finish, port back to prepaid. Repeat and rinse. tongue.gif

Or get a Umobile buddy and keep transferring airtime credit to keep each other alive.

Can start selling your credit before moving to BuzzMe.
Why you don't try port to OneXox or Digi Zero commitment?
