Hmm.. Looks that you need to contact Astro IPTV department and file a complaint about this. You tried restart your router?

When you're on HD channel and you experience that pixelation, is the "Set Top Box Operating Mode" at home>Settings>STB Diagnostics, is it in DTH or IP? At least you know which mode is causing the pixelation issue.

Tried reseting to factory settings. Do the STB thing it is in IP mode

There is only 1 choice you PM to astro Malaysia by facebook by providing your astro account number, smart card number and full name (if I'm not wrong)

The responding time depend  because sure a lot of people inquiry and complain previous month, so normally astro customer service need to follow up for that 1st..

Looks like you need to replace your decoder (set-top-box) to a new one. Contact Astro about it.

Hope other telco will follow soon. brows.gif

Astro won't last long la.
In future internet speed will boost more with help of 5G technology.
Speed is expect more than 500Mbps speed. drool.gif rclxm9.gif

Atleast in 2025 hope Malaysia already mainstream 5G.
And telco will introduce unlimited data plan everyday.
No more weekend only. rclxms.gif biggrin.gif

But then, no matter what, as long your STB is being replaced by whatsoever reason (including thunder strikes, technical glitches that not caused by you, or you damage it), your contract will be restarted.

Q1 in February 2017 already no new addition to Astro.
rolleyes.gif

Just some hype with OD show.
And no new HD channel add to Astro platform.

Look like some price hike incoming soon. drool.gif yawn.gif
doh.gif laugh.gif

I hope Astro not forget other customer who cannot access OD library entertainment.
No WarnerTV HD to show Arrow & latest Warner and DC show.
But put on OD service. doh.gif

For now some DC content on free local TV3 channel. sad.gif

Haha.
But again still have some people use astro od.
Even od content not so attractive.

The part i don't like with OD is quality.
Astro use 1080i for standard HD content.
Not forget astro use 8mbps rate with interlaced show.

Don't waste your time use astro 1080i crappy black line.
When fast moving in some show. It really frust me.
And by the time with astro first show.
Astro only have 3 HD channel to broadcast their Pay Per View show.

If you want more in HD. You need to download from On Demand.

Hello guys, I just wondering that is there any difference between SatCR and normal LNB?

My previous house was using dual LNB and currently I am using single cable satCR.. I noticed there there is a slightly 2 to 3 seconds delay when I switching channel.. may I know what is the problem there?

SatCR allows PVR box to work with using only 1 cable. No need to lay another cable for PVR especially for those who using concealed cabling.

In technical: SatCR allows up to 2 PVR boxes (or 4 HD boxes) to work with a single cable. With SatCR, you don't need to have separate cables for separate inputs.

Me myself also using SatCR and I have no issues with 2-3 secs delay as you mention. The channel opens in 1 second.

Have you tried to troubleshoot, such as rebooting your STB or something?

Thanks for your explanation and helping bro..

I had tried to rebooting, factory reset my PVR decoder and tried to swap the cable and yet the problem still occur..

I would try to post up a video as soon as possible to see whether the delay is normal for satCR. I felt like when using LnB, the channel switching is faster..

Is it any problem with the installer? Because I mentioned the problem to the installer and he seemed to be avoid it and run away without picking up my call and reply my message anymore..

If problem still occur, may I know what options I should get at the moment? For clarification, I'm using the conceal cable that came with the house because I don't want to hack one more hole to the house and laying the cable over the wall.

Once again thank you and appreciate your helping bro smile.gif
