Not all Ambank branches offer 4.4%. You need to go to the branch that offers that rate at your town.

Bank Muamalat, if the FD maturity date is 3rd July, can I go today to withdraw it ? Or wait until 4th July ?

yes not for all Ambank branch (although all branches i go to gives the same 4.4% no question asked) as reported by members here.
I tried to ask for more like 4.5%++ at all branches to no avail ... maybe my substantial amount is not " SUBstantial " enough
instead they keep on pushing for me to go for FD+ASNB combo plan lol. I am non - priority member btw.

You can do it today 3rd July. I have done mine last week. Banker cheque cost RM2.65.

I never ask RENTAS but I think should be RM5.30..as the teller told me " Lima ringgit lebih" I move to Ambank 4.4%

when the amount is quite huge, usually they will go for rentas. and now should be RM5.00 only, since no more GST

Thanks for all the above info, here's my update today:
- Withdraw FD at 12-1pm
- RENTAS RM5 without GST
- 2:10pm money is in MBB

HLB Merdeka rate 4.2% is low. Waiting for the 7-7 digital. There is no UOB or Ambank nearby and I prefer online banking if possible.

Bank Islam 2 years 4.65% p.a. effective rate is over by end June.
