I've heard from a friend that Affin is offering 4.15% FD rate PERMANENTLY which is a lot higher than their competitors

is there a catch to this ?

can withdraw the fd during the tenure? any penalty ?

Any good promo for FD now? Wanted to dump in ranging 50 to 100k
I checked ringgit plus, some fd 3 month is better than 1 year. why is that so?

morning people! CIMB eFD ended already? Tried this morning but it seems unavailable.

btw, is pbb can apply FD online? last time i apply online, it just park the fund into branch and i have to walk to branch and collect FD slip 
if can do it online for pbb FD, i think is more convenience like HLB and other banks do

PETALING JAYA: Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) decided to cut the Overnight Policy Rate (OPR) by 25 basis points to 3% from 3.25% at its Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) today amid weak economic outlook.

This is conventional efd rate right? Any news on the campaign efd one? Prefer efd over otc (although otc is higher).

checked today 8/05/19 time now, its still 3.8% for 12months last till 30june.
