CIMB clicks website is down again, cannot load login page.

Sigh, after the upgrade and make over they did months ago always seem the website version has problems. So many downtimes.

The only thing the FB can say "We apologize, please try again from time to time."

Anyone can help me to  check whether the eFD promotion is still available? Thanks.

loads just fine

Ok thanks, will try cos got few receipts maturing days apart wanna bundle them up.
*
just place it whichever matured lor. no need wait.

interest is calculated on daily basis, place early, earn early. you can even see the acrrued interest in cimb clicks as time goes by.

since it's eFD, easy to manage too.

also, who knows if cimb decided to end the promo early in between those days while you waiting for all to mature.

Hi, if say totally not cimb customer, what are the steps needed to get onto the cimb eFD.  I have been using Maybank and HLB only for the past few years.

Seems, that CIMB and BR are now offering better eFD.

So for the CIMB steps:
a. go to branch and open saving acc first? What are documents require, just IC will do? Any minimum saving, and any recurring fees like debit card?
b. get internet banking (how long to process before getting the id/pass)
c. get online and create the eFD over the link posted in this forum?

** Interested in any good offer in eFD only, because not convenience to visit any banks branches.

Thanks for advise guys.

a) open BSA Account 1 (without Annual Fee) >> info https://www.cimbbank.com.my/en/personal/pro...gs-account.html . min RM20 holding balance
b) CIMBclicks, you can create immediately at the branch after BSA application done. they'll guide you to create it.
c) transfer money from maybank/hlb -> cimb bsa. use Instant Transfer, but mbb has daily limit of rm30k.

Bank Negara stands pat on key interest rate at 3.25%

http://www.theedgemarkets.com/article/bank...terest-rate-325

KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 8): Malaysia's central bank left its key interest rate unchanged at 3.25% today, noting that the annual average headline inflation will be low in 2018.

Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), however, warned that moving into 2019, headline inflation is projected to increase primarily due to higher projected global oil prices and the floating of domestic fuel prices.

"While the impact of the consumption tax policy will contribute to higher headline inflation in 2019, it will lapse towards the end of 2019. Underlying inflation is expected to remain contained in the absence of strong demand pressures," it said in a statement today.

Hmm...so BSA free, but all must require you to have ATM (AF RM8) / Debit Card (AF RM12) to activate the Internet Banking?
somehow i my card were charged RM15 AF  doh.gif
OT : And my maybank card cancelled but my m2u still available.
*
BSA has two type.

should've gotten the one without AF.

if your current acct is not important, cancel the current and signup a new one w/o fee. biggrin.gif
