Not sure if Maybank can open the limit or not, cimb allow to open until your maximum credit card limit.

For cimb Samsung pay, you open the limit, you also open the limit for physical card pay wave....

Physical card not much protection other than intervention from cimb credit monitor team

Anybody tried to swipe using Wave for amount above RM 250 (default limit)?
Especially with Visa Paywave.
Will that trigger for PIN input?

I tried with Samsung pay.... Not with pay wave

From my experience, it seems didn't trigger pin request. The most is receive call from cimb

Something like when you try to use your card overseas when you didn't inform bank

How to open the limit?

As far as i know..

For CIMB, RM250 (MST) and RM1k (NFC)

How about MST limit is lower than NFC?

Previously, MST triggers for signing the printout?
Now still the same? Or change to PIN input?

its a tokenization limit, each phone transaction is a virtual token worth up to 250 only

Call bank say you want increase Samsung pay limit


Not sure Maybank, but cimb didn't ask me open limit for nfc or MST, so I assume it's both.

Still require signature for merchant receipt, I think bank is working with merchant to sort this out

Sometimes they don't even know what they are answering

Registering maybank debit need to call bank to verify. How come dont have otp sms? Verification by sms has been removed or it has not been there before?

I called and operator said will activate for samsung pay in 10mins...10mins passed but still showing not verified..i wonder how they get it verified?
