Even toy shops don't cramp. Gamer's arena's display is very sparse.

So are most hobby shops.

Only ones that are cramp are probably those shops in Amcorp mall because they need to display their products for potential buyers to see and most aren't model kits.

I think only IT Toy have alot of display but they don't feel cramp due to the cabinet size & shop size being very big.

Usually Indie shops will have cramp display due to space limit, just like apartments.

Cramp or not, most consumers will likely come into the shop. Thats including me. Though the Sogo toys display made me cringey because gunpla like assembled by newbie.

I think you need to see more from out Malaysia, as most Malaysian gunpla shop dont really standing out.

Sometimes displaying in dense can be attracting ppl as well especially when u arrange those in same series together. Might attract u to buy the whole series LOL

Displaying is just some art that not everyone will love it..
It goes same for collecting which grade...u love which grade then just collect... no need to listen to or force others to follow ur style. This is very personal thing. Some ppl loves to collect posters while some feel that it's just paper why waste place and time to collect.

Who cares if this is for ur own view..U see it, u happy, then settled.
U can display 50 units of zaku-ii in rows to make it looks like mass production in factory..
U can buy 7 units of unicorn and spray it to rainbow colours

Btw, this is also just my personal view =D

i don't know about Japan as much like you guys but Singapore shops are more or less like Amcorp in terms of display, all cramped out but most of them sell old stuffs, or used/vintage which requires them displayed so potential buyers can check them out. Space is a luxury only few shops can afford sparsely displayed style.

Isetan lot 10 has some what you call luxury of having too much space to display. XL-Shop, Shioktoys are the one that doesn't look cramp. The ones in Amcorp mostly look like toys living in pigeon holes. Sungei Wang have few shops with good display. price wise i don't know.

but then again if the shop focus on selling small stuffs i guess it cannot be avoided that their display will look cramped but there are ways to make cramped display neat. you need to invest in some stair stands.

for shops, if they sell alot of old stuffs or used stuffs they have to display them. if you into them it's fun to spot all the characters and rare ones, even if they aren't for sale. but it's very different in terms of purpose because they won't look good when you glance at the shop, it will look messy, but only fun if you into the stuffs. like the ones in Amcorp.

the IT toy in BJT is different because it has so much space to display.

Retail release at 20,000yen.
Other site got list 16,000yen after discount but high shipping cost + probability to get custom tax might as well buy here for less hassle.

found a review here.

despite all the details, it is still look kinda plain
perhaps this expensive kit not worthy for straight build, must custom paint a little to bring out the power

If you notice, Toriko didnt panel line and applied any marking sticker on the kit. If want to bring out nice appearance just need more decals and some shading on it.
