You better do. Can't safe for this ext warranty cost. My another dell laptop also kaput after 2yrs+. But lucky got 3yrs warranty. Change parts next day after call them with zero cost. Superb service. Not like dell, sony service got to drive there, traffic jam, parking, wait 1week and go again to pick up. The additional cost and time I got to paid.

well, i bought sony vaio coz the centre is 5 minutes WALK lol

My small vaio use since 2004 never send to service at all..only software problem..and got reformat once..thats all..

but i never install games or use rapidshare or whatsoever that allow you to download stuff from it..

now want to change to sony FW..hehe!! last time that one a present from father, now will buy with own money, sure more sayang the laptop..but now sony made in china rite?

yes mine is made in china, but i think the high end ones are made in japan, unsure though

VAIO Z series is still made in Japan

my CS 16 use not over than 3 weeks... yet i justt found out that my wifi is not working anymore... the wireless light mode did not showed when i turn it on... Is it my problem or the computer itself??
Last night i was still able to online... but today.... sigh.... really disappointed as i was the first time who purchased the sony brand...

The sticker comes with it, i can't do anything about it.

the ones at the sony centre had tons of stickers
i picked the ones with least stickers XD


erm, should i leave my battery in the laptop or take it out when plugged in?
the guidebook says to leave the batt in the laptop :/
but i read some articles on lithium ion batteries, saying its better to take it out when plugged in for extended period at around 50% charged.

try to go to repair the wifi software in the control panel then restart your notebook..

i take the bat out when i am using it at home. prolong charging will shorten the lifespan.

omg omg just got my SR26 today.

But too bright, i try setting the brightness lower using the fn+F5 button, but the changes WON'T last after i restart. How ar?
