My Illegear z5 laptop decided to die... the problem is when plug in the power cord the adapter light turn off... might be due to short circuit whether capacitor, the power jack or the motherboard itself... How can I send my laptop during this MCO for checking?

Z5 graphics is soldered so it's not impossible.

is there software that shows what FN+ number keys do? i remember last time when i press Fn+1 it will shows turbo fan is on.

FN + 0 => On/Off backlight
FN + 1 => Max fan speed
FN + 9 => On/Off Intel Turbo Boost
FN + Esc => On/Off touch pad

hve the latest AMD CPU based laptops launched?

Hi im using a 2015 illegear z5.

My current i7 CPU core temperature is around 45C to 98C (Min and Max) in idling mode.

Average is around 50C , room temperature about 25C

Is it too hot? or suppose to be low.

Anyone can share their temperature as well?

It's 5 years old, you should replace the thermal paste and do some dust cleaning at the same time. Normal PC shop can do it for a fee or you can watch some Youtube guides and DIY.

Also, does Illegear provide any service to reapply thermal paste? How much would it be?

Yesterday I just know my laptop Z5 Skylake battery actually not faulty.

Using lower than suppose power adapter cannot full charge.

Previously I buy 120w one at others PC shop when original one faulty.

Yesterday I go buy original one at Illegear JB shop 180w and my battery manage to full charge. 😅

I changed my faulty charger too lately.
2 years ago changed battery.
