Wah, thanks alot...you guys still remember me ah? But i need the laptop for my works and study...so can't send for the checkup...So, any quick fix that I can try like update the BIOS etc?

My Z5 is 970m version black one before the aluminium, I was gaming while the battery indicator suddenly said left 10% and within 2 secs the laptop shut off itself.

Now the z5 won't turn on, when I press the power button the battery light blink 3 times orange colour. When I plug in the adapter it still won't turn on. There's no green light on the adapter.  If I plug out the adapter and on off the switch the green light comes on, when I plug into the laptop immediately the light turns off

I don't have a spare charger to test. Are you open tomorrow for me to send it in?

I just went through all the discussion threads in V1, V2 and V3 and noticed that BATTERY is the common issue for Z5 and Z7. Did u ever noticed that?

Pleaseeee, control your battery quality before deliver it to ur customer. Replacing battery isnt that cheap. RM395 for new battery. Come on, why dont u recall all the affected batches and get it replace at first?

Hey guys, I have the Z5 Haswell model. I just want to confirm that it supports up to 32GB of RAM?

Currently on 16GB.

Hi willaw, I believe that the Haswell model only supports DDR3 for the RAM. Therefore, the maximum capacity for the RAM is 16GB by equipping 2 units of 8GB DDR3L RAM,hope it clarifies 

DDR3 RAM can also goes up to 32GB, not just 16GB though.
