So far, after Nougat upgrade, the following issues/bugs detected:
1) Android Pay is broken.
2) "Download" app is missing in app drawer.
3) On-screen navigation buttons stop working after dismissed the "Split screen" feature.
4) Google PlayStore Setting menu shows "Uncertified" device status.
5) "Video Player" app is missing in app drawer.
6) ....
7) ....

Uncertified device is more important, as there are some ppl can't download apps thru play store

nougat SOT decreased now 8 to 10 hours Avg.
I notice CPU usage a lot in batt stats.

Probably needs to settle after 3 charging cycles... keep monitoring...else, hard/factory reset....

However, there are owners claimed better energy consumption in Nougat (after hard reset), especially the stand-by/idle of 1% for overnight sleep....

Also, this YouTuber claims better SoT in Nougat... He did hard-reset P2 after the Nougat update though...


hence, better performance in P2 after Nougat OTA is a major win....

But, I will stay with Android 6.0.1 until mid of May (next OTA is ETA on end of May....)

You play games a lot, right? Better don't...(if I were in your shoes...).

This is because you will most probably need to hard/factory reset P2 after Nougat OTA... So, perform full back-up (via Helium Premium app is preferred) to all your apps/games data before upgrade...

yea i notice tat too... before update is keep drain by wifi nw chg to cpu

If you have balls of steel, u can do the following:

1) Take off cover and sit your phone flat
2) Inspect the curve at the bottom left/right corner of the phone
3) Clamp the screen and body hard with your fingers and make it flat

I was super frustrated with the bubble so I did that. Mind you, u need to apply a fair amount of force without worrying about breaking your phone. (with the force I applied, I managed to crack the edge of my tempered glass with just finger force) I have totally no air bubble on any side of my screen now

Haha, backup is ok, as i only got whatsapp & wechat history, as well as call & sms
Some more, my usual game is online game, so is okay.
Just i worried is, would it has more issues than current version?

Hard reset and factory reset will erase everything... It's like giving P2 a brand new life...like buying a brand new P2 from retail stores...

If we use Helium, backup process is less troublesome... Try it coz it's free...but get the Premium to have Cloud backup to Google Drive...

Nevertheless, I'm not sure how reliable the built-in backup option in P2 ...

I am using Nougat since Tuesday and my battery life is exactly the same as with MM. Last night I tried sound recording inside a little pub (loud voices and some music -but not very loud- there was no problem with the music in the background and my firends voices (we wre playing some board games closely to ourselves). I've also recorded a train or trafiic: under the brigde + loud tarmac and both records are OK.
