Nope. Nothing to do with Snap625 or other hardware. We have evaluated others as well below:
RN4P also suffers the same Noise Cancelling Mic plague...LOL... Whereas, H6X is doing great for both vix and audio quality...

Redmi 4 Prime is affected too:
More Noise Cancelling Noise nasty effect....forward to timeline 3:10 below:
However, Moto Z Play (which is also Snap 625), does NOT have Noise Cancelling Mic syndrome...
I had been followed this thread quite some times, and discovered this noise cancelling mic issue quite troublesome. Would it affects whatsapp/wechat voice recording message?
Yes up to certain ambient noise environment. If you VoIP (via WhatsApp, WeChat, Skype, etc) in a noisy environment, your voice might be tiny on the other's party. But if in quiet environment (say, in toilet or living room with TV is on), your voice will be normal.
Wah, really appreciated TS fast explanation on this issue. Many thanks
Now deciding between redmi note 4x (SD625) & lenovo p2 (SD625)
most of them after updated to Nougat, they never do factory reset. They should do factory reset after major update like from version 6 to version 7... i always do that for major update..
I thought i just want to restart and use it on the spot. Plenty of data need to backup if need to factory reset
So far, after Nougat upgrade, the following issues/bugs detected: 1) Android Pay is broken. 2) "Download" app is missing in app drawer. 3) On-screen navigation buttons stop working after dismissed the "Split screen" feature. 4) Google PlayStore Setting menu shows "Uncertified" device status. 5) "Video Player" app is missing in app drawer. 6) .... 7) ....
Uncertified device is more important, as there are some ppl can't download apps thru play store
Haha, backup is ok, as i only got whatsapp & wechat history, as well as call & sms Some more, my usual game is online game, so is okay. Just i worried is, would it has more issues than current version?
