Complaints of Countdown is that the series is slow-paced since they compare against the 52-series.

The story just picked up half-way thru the series. Thinking of disposing it to purchase something else.

Well, it is just the part of my collections. tongue.gif tongue.gif I got Image Titles, Crusade, Dark Horse, etc.

Be proud of your collections, if you don't want it - either sell it slightly below costs or just give it to friends.

Don't sell it to scraps!! thumbup.gif

scraps?
yep..my mom once sold my comics to scrap vendor..
thank god those comics are BM translated comics..plus she burn all my Dragon Ball and Dragon Quest collections..coz my room too small..

there was this one time I bought a Marvel Box set comic titled Gambit and the X-ternals which has its own box and free X-men trading cards..I left the comic at home and when I got back the comics were torn to pieces by my lil sister and the trading cards have been cut to shreds..i was so furious but I can't scold her coz she's just a few years old..sigh..there goes my precious..

What about you guys? ever had bad comics moments?

Mine too... I think that was the last era when those special covers. hologram, and those shining2 cover made an impact. Really lost touch on the latest comic covers. Do they still sport a special/alternate covers once in awhile? hmm.gif

I still have my dragon ball and dragon quest comic in my room. Still read thru the whole set once a year when I am bored.

Same with my comics too. All seal up in nice plastic covers. biggrin.gif

must be the explosion of Image Comics era ! Jim Lee, Todd MacFarlane, Rob Liefeld, Whilce Portacio, Jim Valentino, Marc Silvestri and Erik Larssen. Multiple covers plus special cover for special occasion to boost sales.

Of course it is not confined to Image but all other companies once they found out they can sell more of the same issue with multiple covers.

Alas, it is what we called superficial thing that best kept secret and forgotten.
