why their price differ from kino so much, its twice cheaper

If you purchase from Amazon, one time shipping charge @ USD$5-00 plus per book at USD$5-00.

So basically, you need a lot of discounts to save on costs. Buy 1 book is not gonna saves cost unless there is a huge discounts like Capt America Omnibus.

BTW Kino sometimes offer 30% rebate on selected titles. So it is kinda interesting for you to speculate which will be 30% offer as you can get the attractive pricing compare to Amazon. The titles so far I had encountered is New X-Men Omnibus, X-Men : Phoenix Endsong HC, Heroes HC, New Avengers HC, etc.

yeah, i've converted their prices. For example, the ultimates 2 HC at amazon sells at

23.09USD==>RM 76.46 compare to kino's which about RM 100+

but since you said the shipping charges are USD$5-00 plus per book at USD$5-00

which makes it total 33.09USD==>RM 100++ about the same

Zergg? Hmmm. Starcraft's fan? There is couple of things about comics.

Comics - a comic book printed.
Graphic Novels/TradePaperbacks - mostly a collected edition of comic book issues run. occasional urm. one-shot story ut mostly collected run.
HC Comics - collected comic book issues run with better paper and Hard Cover plus all covers and tit-bits. Think of it as DVD Collected with a lots of makings.

The link is to Acma Mall SG. Kinda costly. I remember it costs RM260-00 @ Borders. Dunno whether you can still get it or not. At Amazon, it costs USD$ 48-00 minus shipping.

X-Men Endangered Species is coming out in HC and TPBK format.

League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is by Alan Moore, interesting choice. You do not sounds like you are not a probie in comics by choosing Alan Moore's work.

Alan Moore also writes 1602 of Marvel Comics and a secret project yet to be announced.

52 is a good choice from DC. Green Lantern's current run is quite good also. There will be the war of lights in Green Lantern showing there is more than the colour green, yellow and pink.

X-Men : Messiah Complex will only be available in March/April 08 since the current comic run is still at Part 8. Good storyline by the team of writers.

Runaways is a fresh look. Good story, nice characterisation.

been immersing into his artworks since ages,especially after he won the 1997 award as a best writer, and the Lague of Exaordinary Gentlemen, ive heard about the reviews since then, but neva got a chance to grab one on my own..
well, enough said, i think im going to give The Runaways a shot-for this moment-
