How to differentiate whether its double shot or not? I know those pro can know by just tapping on the keycap

pbt double shot consists of 2 different plastics

non-backlit pbt double shot caps
backlit (translucent) pbt double shot caps
the pbt surface is 'rough', compared to smooth abs surface. notice that usually the plastic for translucent effect is opaque in color. it's why lighting effects with pbt double shot caps are less vibrant than abs.
edit: for relatively better pbt options at taobao (meaning those that are much cheaper than nice-looking collection key cap sets), my personal preference is currently the following:
1. non-backlit: varmilo (dye sub), capturer (or 捕获者 in chinese), and tai-hao (or 太豪 in chinese; relatively thin caps compared to the formers)
2. backlit: iKBC and capturer
the above are about functional mainly, not about looks, although they are not ugly; feels nice to type on; most importantly, cheap lol
