QUOTE(Jay Chua CC @ Sep 18 2017, 01:01 PM) QUOTE(horns @ Sep 18 2017, 01:02 PM) key caps of corsair boards are really of low quality. it's a pity really. corsair have charged premium for them, yet they cannot afford to make gaming boards whole with a better quality key cap set. yes it's about costs, but we are not asking for gmk. Well, that site isn't english. Could not find where to change the language too.grab one better set from taobao, or just do rma if the warranty is still valid. |

QUOTE(horns @ Sep 18 2017, 03:13 PM) np; if you're in doubt just show me the links i can verify for you if you want (because i saw thin caps sold at much expensive price tags also at taobao) Thankspbt double shot consists of 2 different plastics Looking at this one: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Black-108-k...8c-c7a8824fe66b Or maybe I should buy myself Logitech G810 and be done with it. QUOTE(horns @ Sep 20 2017, 02:00 PM) i think this one is good. Thanks.g810 uses their own stems. it will be hard for you to find compatible replacement key cap sets. I got no issue as long as the keycap doesn't break like the one and only Corsair K70 Lux RGB. This is the only keyboard I own that has broken keycaps after 30 years of using PC. QUOTE(horns @ Sep 20 2017, 02:55 PM) you're right. it's a terrible choice for them to decide on putting something with bad quality that are interfacing users directly. (it's the cheapest of all parts in that board some more) Yup. None of my previous keyboards has broken keycaps. Just loss of printed letter.i have switched my k70 rgb to pbt double shot also, because of its ugliness after few months of use (abuse). (the paint is too thin tbh; worn off after some time) I might try Thermaltake Esports Keycaps. I saw it on sale at Viewnet. It is pricey though. |
