It's Continental's lowest lousiest model ma, what else to expect?

i didnt buy because of budget constraints.. i bought because they advertised supreme comfort in terms of low noise.. which was just absent! grip levels also can be so low one meh.. if this competes directly with xm2 and ep200 now(ep300), and nano energy3, ive used all three and they still manage to provide adequate amounts of grip whereas this cc6 is just too far off. to even call them tires would be a stretch.. my traction control system is working overtime now after fitting these tires ..

Hahaha ok at least you know now and did not get into any accident due to that shit tire! Next time when selecting tires, prioritize on grip performance first ahead of noise, comfort or whatever else coz those are just secondary criteria while grip is the main criteria that allows your car to stay on the road!

If PS4 is available for your size and you have the budget for it then by all means go for that, no need to mess around with the mid-range 3ST anymore. The 3ST is also already an old tire some more and just so-so only. Rather than 3ST, if you want good value for money tires, then go for Hankook V12 Evo2. It's the cheapest of well proven UHP tires, even cheaper than top brands mid range tires like 3ST but yet it closely rivals PS4/3 in performance and it's pretty silent too. I just got them for my wife's car, that's why I can highly recommend it.

my other car currently on hankook ventus evo2 something like that.. the code is k117a.. i never gave a thought about hankooks.. but what can i say.. im in love with these hankooks.. damn they grip so well in dry and wet.. just amazing. and the comfort levels it provides as well... so sublime the ride and the road noise is so subdued.... hmmmm yeah ill go for this too if my mechanic has.. my mechanic sells me michelin tyres cheaper so yeah.. ps4 and primacy 3st is 30rm diff each.. but i just dont like ps4 if its going to be noisy as its a uhp tire.. any input on this?

K117 is the S1 Evo2, which is the asymmetric version of the V12 Evo2, so I'm not surprised it's good or even better! The S1 Evo series is one of my target tires to try also from Hankook.

Buying tires does not need to always buy at your mechanic ma. As long as you get good stuff at good price at location not too far then ok already lor. PS4 only rm30 more than 3ST?? Then no brainer la, much better and newer performance tires vs aging just so-so mid range tires! But in terms of noise, let's just say PS4 does not excel/win in this area in any tests I've read (but it doesn't mean it's so bad either). What size are you using and how much your mechanic are offering you the PS4?

my size 205/55r16.. but if i change then i will go for 225/45r17 which is the price he quoted me for ps4 and primacy 3. heehee the price ahh.. i think its for me only.. he's my friend.. so yeah... but very cheap la for michelin.

it looks under pressure from certainn angle. For this new tires, during the first 10k mileage i always pump it extra 2psi. As the tires is way too soft and compromise on my handling big time and it also could be the tires just fresh out of factory for 1 week then is installed on my car .

After it gone thru the heat cycle now almost reaching 20k, the tires ridiculous soft feeling is gone and handling is not as bad as it started. Could be due to the rubber starting to harden due to heat cycle.

btw, my driving is 98% highway constant 100~110km/h and 120 sometimes.

same my tire was fresh out of factory n onto my car. The shop boss said not recommended to use so new tyres but i liked it lol. The smell of new tyres

Just changed 4 tyres to CC6 in Nov., 17. Got good discount from Lazada single day, for slightly over RM900. Coming from XM2, this tyres are soft indeed. The handling & cornering fall behind XM and may be fuel consumption too (because accerating feels lag). As others, the noise and comfort is good.
Still prefer, Micheline if not the price is almost double of CC6. XM almost last me 5 years and 150,000Km.

the front one i will change before cny 2018.

so wonder this 2 match is okay? or i have to stick back to xm2 for the front tyre?

You're already having good practice by installing tyres of similar thread on an axle.
Tread patterns on front and rear axles need not to be the same.

I did 5.5 years with around 110k km with XM2 ....tread left was more than 2 mm.
