haahaa..today's evening incentives..burnt for me..
4pm got 1 ping frm kl - port klang..almost rm60..
rider told me.. wanna ride/go back to kl. yeayy.. 60x2!

Learnt from sifoo monkeyboy...call cs to cancel if the ride are not pleasant... today, got a ping...3 went in to my car, ask me to wait another friend, so I press pickup...then their 2 friends came over.. I told them that that grabcar only can take 4 passengers. That time was raining and very jam, they plead with me to go on with the ride and will top up for me. I damn black face drive them to drop off location. Very near distance rm5 ride. They top up rm10 for me. After drop them, I did not press dropoff but call cs to cancel the ride, say got 5 passengers. And boom cancel by operator ..at least I save my rating from going down.

if cancel the ride, still accepted the fare, how does that work? Grab wont penalize?

What time usually the incentive payout ?

im new to grab. i've been driving around part time for about a month now. currently im playing around the incentives and only doing short trip. For now, im pretty satisfied with the system with a few issue maybe the company should rectify (mainly grabshare and incorrect pick up location) and personally, im quite amazed at the incentives they give (not the amount). maybe u win some u lose some i guess. lastly, just a few question for u guys.

1) do u guys think the company can sustain in the long term,  do u have any idea on how they get the money to pay incentive?

2) how do u check your % of trip in the busy area

Press pick up also can cancel one.
After pick up and drive for minutes, then rider tell you no highway.
You should
- Stop at side safely.
- you tell rider no highway, I send you back to original place and cancel your booking.
Or follow the system suggest way.
- once u return to original pick up, call CS and request cancel due to rider complaint.
- after cancel, the rider can't rate you.

if only use someone's money just to pay incentives. that would be really bad when the money gone. they have to keep on carik investor. if thats the case pity on who quit their job to do fulltime. as i doubt it will sustain in the long term

I think as incentives are taken away, the price/km will increase. In the end what I can predict is taxis drivers and grab drivers will compete for the same customers as taxi driver especially the traditional system have to conform to the new style which is grab and uber.

In a nutshell ,taxi drivers will compete with grab driver for riders .

nowadays i receive many request that the drop-off is not the correct place. for example, rider will request from Sunway Pyramid to AEON Big Subang. But when nearing drop off point, rider will say that the drop off is actually in Empire and need to drive another 1km to 2km to drop rider. I suspect rider wants to save a few ringgit?

Have you guys experience this? Do you do the extra mile?

My 5th day driving grab, but my rating is stil 5 from day 1. Not to boast but system error or riders too kind to me?

same goes to me 4pm to 5pm only one ping for god sake...
