bought the sim last night at sunway pyramid, godamn long que. now still waiting for celcom to switch my network, normally how long need to wait ah?

assuming you have cleared your outstanding with celcom or no issues with them, mnp process is fast, usually within a day or two.

hope celcom or other telcos not doing hankypanky tricks (a well known issue), since now ending 2016/end Q4, they will do tricks to fail your mnp. purpose is to make you stay as their customer for reporting purposes.

Just go register my webebroadband on yesterday night and there is very long queue for ppl register webemobile. Offer Offer a.. haha.. rclxms.gif

I test with my Sony Z3 Tablet and My LTE MiFi. I test when on the way from Butterworth till Penang Island ..

Sony Tablet is connected with FDD 850Mhz, getting signal 2-3bar and keep jumping.. Speedtest around 3-5mbps.

LTE MiFi compatible with TDD LTE : getting signal 1-2Bar. I think they are using existing P1 Intra to setup LTE.

No... You don't tell them you want to use it for webe. Just say you want to buy TMGo USB modem only.

That was a VERY BAD move, bro.

You should NEVER EVER say anything about webe.

Please, don't come to mothership... lots of typical late-comers... typical Malaysian attitudes...

Yesterday courier said they'll call me in the today morning for delivery..
Waited, till 11 AM.. no call.. so... I call them..
They'll deliver the sim in the evening (after prayer)... I said OK...

The around 12.30 PM.. another delivery guy call me asking for my location... said he's delivering the item now :/
Got the item.. (around 12.45 PM)

12.53.. got another SMS.. the first delivery guy can't make it, and passed it to another guy ^^;
So messed up...

And yeah.. they didn't even ask for my ID or anything...

Hooked the sim to a USB modem (Vodafone K5005 @ E398)
Worked in 3G only (no LTE coverage here... and modem don't support 850)
No signal... even manual search.. cannot grab signal...
Put sim inside phone, after 5 mins Manual search... connected
Put sim inside USB again... after a while.. got 3G signal..
Test internet... 4-5mbps

youtube.. 480p no problem..
720p? No problem biggrin.gif (~10secs delay at the start.. then smooth playback)

Later will readjust position...

Ayam used liao 130gb, so far so gooding.

Should I set up auto pay for coming bills? I just worried about the issue when coming bills overcharged me. (but it's already deducted)

Anyone using auto pay? So far any problem?

autobill kicks in about 5 days after bill date (1st of the month)

coming 1st Jan, you can view your PDF in self care. then check the charges.

so far, it's clean for me. no funny charges or charges since webe mobile has simpler plan. i guess webe broadband even simpler since it is a straightforward rm59 plan.
