Don't think got 4G Webe here.. but 3G (and 4G) Celcom no problem..

Since just need to pay RM79... any device can use?

How's the speed for 3G? (H / H+)
It rollback to Celcom for non-4G coverage, right...

Will it have the same speed as normal Celcom line?

1. I see some say youtube is played at standard def (480p).. can manually change to HD?
2. Are the any contracts? How's the first payment.. If I plan to do a test trial (2-3 months)... is it possible?
3. My place don't have LTE coverage, only Celcom 3G... Can use normal USB modem (Vodafone K5005) for single PC use?

Theoretically.. 200kBps is enough to run HD (720p) right.
(Coz normally.. a 1.5mbps is enought for a smooth HD playback)

Depends on video..
But most of them.. i've tried..
even on a stable 1.5mbps... it's enough

a stable 4mbps is sufficient for 1080p videos

Need to set the delivery to Friday Only coz i won't be around..
And the CS said 3rd party cannot receive the sim on behalf (for the main sim, anyway)

Yesterday courier said they'll call me in the today morning for delivery..
Waited, till 11 AM.. no call.. so... I call them..
They'll deliver the sim in the evening (after prayer)... I said OK...

The around 12.30 PM.. another delivery guy call me asking for my location... said he's delivering the item now :/
Got the item.. (around 12.45 PM)

12.53.. got another SMS.. the first delivery guy can't make it, and passed it to another guy ^^;
So messed up...

And yeah.. they didn't even ask for my ID or anything...


Hooked the sim to a USB modem (Vodafone K5005 @ E398)
Worked in 3G only (no LTE coverage here... and modem don't support 850)
No signal... even manual search.. cannot grab signal...
Put sim inside phone, after 5 mins Manual search... connected
Put sim inside USB again... after a while.. got 3G signal..
Test internet... 4-5mbps

youtube.. 480p no problem..
720p? No problem (~10secs delay at the start.. then smooth playback)

Later will readjust position...

probably due to mobile signal..
There's time.. it's around 8mbps...
normally.. around 4mbps...
occasionally... 2mbps..
There's time it seems connected... but no actual connection to the internet at all.. :/
can't even get any signal (standby) between 4 to 8 pm just now...
I wonder how 4G would be here..

I thought you need to BUY the pass first, then you can tether...?
Or did I read wrong?
Or did webe style.. use first, charge later?

What's those few lines of charges?

It's highly depends on one's usage actually..
There's probably a number of people who can live by the no-tethering rules... (me included)

If you desperately need the tethering... other telco offers them, right?
