U started the forum, i assumed. Sorry bro, haha. Just excited cos moving to sony. Thinking to try XA1 plus for now instead of XZ (not easy to find new with warranty shop), wait next year to buy new model of sony for my other phone.

it's almost no bezel on the side, hmm... saw it in a series (year 2019) not sure if SONY marketing there.

hi, got intention to have this model. Does Sony provide the harassment filter, mainly to manage unwanted calls or sms. Currently I am using Honor which they provided the feature started from Nougat. TQ

I see thank you, likely it does not having the similar feature with my current Honor, different rules for different sim card and the blocking all calls option. I need this as I am using a sim that it mainly for data and I don't want any calls to be received.

there's fingerprint issue with my xzs . When i locked the phone and unlock it with my fingerprint with no apps running in background , i only gt 1 time sucessful out of 10 times . However , when i open some apps like fb , whatsapp and etc and lock it by pressing power button , then unlock it with fingerprint again , success rate is almost 100% , why ya ? When i press the power button , i was asked to enter the pin , why ya ?Any setting problem ? or hardware faulty ?

try to clean your sensor???if really cant just send for warranty...

For warranty, they verify with the bootloader.
If you didn't unlock it, just restore to factory setting, the warranty is still there.
It was very easy for Xperia phone before Z3. Because it was the last phone support exploit root.
And our XZ is the last phone able to backup TA (the bootloader) before unlock (thanks to dirtycow exploit).
Restore TA + factory restore still able to warranty.

But for your case. XZ1 is no longer able to backup TA, so for now, rooting your phone you must void your warranty.
Unless there are new exploit.
